Just giving a bit of an update, Jones is not doing well at the moment, however is hanging in there. He continues to eat and eat decently which is very surprising. I hope the weight loss stops but who knows at this stage.

I have ordered some folate to start him on. Was supposed to start yesterday but finding something without additives is hard. Hope it is here today or tomorrow.

I guess we will keep doing what we are doing as the IM suggested and go from there, hope he turns it around.

The BG control is not great but with the 16% food no wonder and it seems to take me a bit when we do a pred increase to figure things out. Will keep increasing insulin dosage until I can get him off the 16% food but all things take a bit. Changes are slow and don't want to upset the apple cart.

Another busy week at work and at home...this summer is flying by.

Thank you for the nice thoughts and prayers. IBD can be very ugly to deal with and despite best efforts it is up to the kitty on how things work out.
