7/24 Velcro AMPS=416; +2=367; +6=180; +9.5=243; PMPS=231; +2=167

Classic bounce for Velcro eh? Glad that he’s ‘back on the charts’ though :joyful:

Good luck with the reducie! Let’s see it Velcro!!

Good to see Velcro ditching those high numbers ASAP.:)

Why are you going to the vet for a curve? Can’t you just show the spreadsheet? Some cats can have really elevated numbers at the vet, negating any value of a curve there. I had one civvie who tested over 220 at the vet, not my regular vet. Vet called all concerned about diabetes. He was 53 at home.

Whew, you are on a roller coaster there! Glad to see Velcro coming down safely this morning.

For what it's worth: My vet told me she stopped doing curves at the clinic because the cats are just too stressed out and the numbers aren't a good representation of where they really are most of the time. Instead, she has the link to Perry's spreadsheet so she can take a look at what's going on.

However, you know your cat better than anyone, and we all have to make our decisions about our kitties independently. :)

Huh, I’m going just because they told me to. I need to call them anyway about it, maybe I can ask if they can just review his spreadsheet. I don’t think he will be permanently be being treated there, it was just the only emergency vet when he was sick. I don’t actually care for their regular vet care.

That’s a good idea. I partially think they just want to see him again because they don’t trust we can care for him. I’m probably overreacting, and while they absolutely saved his life in the emergency service, I don’t care for their regular vet service.
