Good morning LL! Shadow has 3 Ps so far this morning. He is purring as usual and enjoying his additional servings of freeze dried chicken. All is quiet around here which is so nice for me but makes for a boring report, eh? I like boring!

Oh, the not-so-boring news is that I have booked a 2 week trip to Oregon to visit with our DD in mid-Sept. I am having second and third thoughts about it each time I kiss my boy's head or hold the Princess. I really miss my DD and want to see her so much, but I know I am going to upset everyone's apple cart when I go. DPS is good and my other DD will be able to come upstairs to our apartment and spend some time with my furbabies too....but as you all know, it's not the same as having their Bean right here. At least they will get to stay in their own home and not have to travel or spend time anywhere they are not comfortable. Will be projecting all happy thoughts as the time draws nearer....but oh my....this is going to be difficult for me...

Lovely AMPS for Shadow today.

Aww, you can do it. You have a great petsitter and your other daughter can visit with the kitties so they will feel loved and not lonely.
Thinking and preparing about leaving is the hardest part. When you are actually in Oregon with your DD, you will be so happy.

Raja is too proud and stubborn to do anything weird and Shadow is too sweet to cause trouble. They will fine and take lots of naps.
I read somewhere that cats have zero sense of time so if you are not there for one hour or one week, it's all the same to them.
Hahaha! I'm not sure I believe that, but it made me laugh because I bet there is a bit of truth in it. :lol:

Hi Pat!

I just got back from a weekend trip. I had to take Sara with me because Dawn was unavailable to watch her. I still had my other furbabies to worry about that were left at home. I know they were well taken care of but your right you can't help but worry about them. They'll be fine. It's nice that your daughter will be able to check in on them too. I think the fact that they will be home in their familiar surroundings will help them out a lot. Sending thoughts of well behaved kitties while you are gone. :smile:
