yesterday
i took a stool sample in to the vet today to have them check for bugs. punkin's had soft poo or diarrhea since he had that dental may 2nd. i've tried fortiflora and we've switched food. yesterday was the final straw - i had to wash his backside because of the mess. it's (not to be too graphic) the color of cement. i looked it up and it could be an overgrowth of yeast or other bug. perhaps the clindamycin after his dental (i think he had 5 days, which i thought was an odd length of time, but it was more preventative than treating an infection) knocked out the good bugs and the bad ones have taken over.
anyway, poor punkin just doesn't seem on top of things. not quite like he's sick, just like he's worn out and not feeling so great. hopefully we'll get an answer tomorrow afternoon or thursday afternoon and can get him back to feeling better.
other than that, he's doing fine. his numbers are great, although i don't quite trust this green surf every night yet and am testing hourly til we are past +6, which is beyond his usual nadir. this staying up til 1am every night is catching up with me.
it's been beautiful today - mid-80's. simply perfect.
eta - almost forgot mr greenie! gotta get it while we can!
