There is a lot of blue dancing_cat dancing_cat going on at our house today!!!!

Don't think we could have done it without you all here!!! Musette and I would like to thank Vicki and Sheila for finally saying go down, instead of up and showing us how to do it.

Well we made it back into the yellow tonight, but it is still better than yesterday, when we were back into pink, so I'm happy. As long as each day is better than the last, that is all I ask for. She didn't become a diabetic over night, and she isn't going to be 'cured' over night either. All in all I think she is doing remarkably well, considering she has survived DKA, twice...And between March when she was dxed until June 4th when DCIN stepped in to save her, she wasn't being truly treated at least not on a consistant basis. To already be coming down like she is into the blues and staying mostly below the renal threshhold, on under.5u of insulin, what more can I really ask of her right now? We will get there its just going to take time and patience.

Yep, its a marathon, not a race....

As long as she is continuing to improve each day on this new dose, I'd leave the dose alone. Tonight's number looks like a tiny swing from the 120 (or possibly a little lower between that and the +9), so just let it settle out now.

She is doing very well for all she has been through.
