Good Sunday morning, and Maggie is starting out on a nice blue! I just checked, and she left a nice deposit in the lb box, too! I had an early Maggie wake-up call but went back to sleep, and she patiently sat on the bed waiting for me to get up. Then she was waiting by the bathroom door and so patiently, little sweetie! She is not eating that well this morning, and there was a little waterish vomit, so maybe her tummy is upset. I've never given Pepcid and don't even know what dosage, but I'll hold off and see if she eats later. She did suck up some juices and now sleeping like a baby. For those of you in the states suffering the horrible heat wave, I hope today will be better. I think I'll get a short walk in while it's nice and overcast. Be back later to catch up on condos,

For once, not a food spike! She's been picky, picky again, so I have a feeling this is why she is lower!

This is the lowest PMPS in a while. I hope she doesn't go too low tonight. I normally wouldn't worry, but she hasn't been eating the best and is sleeping all day. I know she is a cat but....

I hope for good (but comfortable!) numbers for Maggie, and sleep for you! The best of both worlds, yes, please.

Hi Ann,
I hope Maggie is feeling better tonight. Those are lowish numbers on the AlphaTrak. Come on, Maggie! EAT!! I believe that the correct dose of Pepcid A/C is 1/4 of a pill (half of a half). But someone might want to confirm that. I've never given it, either.

Thanks Becca and Tena for visiting Maggie. She finally did eat some fuds and did play a little, too, with her mouse pole toy. I guess I have to realize she is getting older, and some days she will just sleep more and eat less, as long as she is eating something, even if i have to feed her some of the grilled FF. Now I only hope this sleeping all day does not mean play time at night! Oh well, as long as she is feeling well!

Wow on the numbers for Maggie today.

If she vomited clear liquid, that is often a sign of an acid tummy. Ella is right...1/4 of a 10mg Pepcid AC (not pepcid complete). It is foul tasting so best given in a pill pocket if you can.

I give my Gussie his pepcid last thing at night after he's eaten so he doesn't wake up with acid in his tummy. Alot of times, feeding late at night or during the night can help soak up that acid. If she didn't eat last night as she often does, that might be the reason she was off this morning.

Thanks Ella, I didn't see you up there. I have the Pepcid A/C on my list for tomorrow. I have some in the cabinet but checked the date and they were good until 4/11. Yes, the numbers are low for the ATrak.

Thanks Marje, I will pick some up tomorrow and always have it on hand. No, Maggie didn't eat her fuds last night, so it was probably the acid tummy that upset her. I hope Gussie is doing okay.

Nice numbers today for Maggie. I hope her tummy is better, her appetite is back. Pepcid does help if she is still not eating that well. I think Marje may be right - no food last night = upset tummy today. Be better Maggie!

Poor Maggie girl has a upset tummy! Hope it settles down soon...She likes the blue floor today, it's OK
