Last Condo
Sorry we didn't post yesterday... so much going on! DSIL needs some advice on some things work and student loan related, so she and DB arrived last last night, and then my friends left first thing this morning... busy, busy! Willie has done so great with the company... lots of loving for him, though there was another tail-pulling incident last night. I brokered a peace summit though, by having little JJ give Willie his post-poke treat. Summit was a success, and now Willie is enjoying peace and quiet in the backyard, and apparently has decided that the inflatable pool I bought for the kids (that still needs to be emptied) is the biggest water bowl EVER. My friend April hadn't seen Willie for like 3 years, and she was absolutely blown away at how healthy he was... she said that he looked a million times better than he did even then, and that it was like I had reversed his age by half. She really understood much better why I was all "crazy cat lady" with the FD stuff and she really appreciated why I had made the choices i'd made.
Already missing them terribly and figuring out how we can get together again soon. They moved last year from the Chicago area to Michigan, so it is costlier and a bit more effort now for us to meet up. Their youngest has always been more mommy and daddy's boy and hasn't really taken to others, but JJ, the 3 year old, has always been Aunt Christie's best bud. I had such a blast. DB, DSIL and I are headed to the waterpark today. Working on a plan to avoid sunburn!!
