Good morning everyone!
Tigger is high this morning but I over slept a bit so its about 14 hours since his last dose. We'll check him every 2 hours before I have to leave for the day.
Hoping the new pen is going to be the answer.

Mayo went ok, but a pretty busy two days and I can feel it today. Hopefully they find some answers. Have a couple results from blood work and it is not Rheumatoid related by the looks of it which is good news. The Adrenal glands aren't producing and it looks like they will produce when told to. One test they did shot me full of something to stimulate them and they shot up from 5 to 18 then to 22 for Cortisol levels which is also good news. If they don't work then you are in trouble I guess. They work, just need to find out why they aren't starting. Maybe I need a new alternator!

good news about the Mayo visit, I think. I have a friend who is going through something similar. She knows it is not RA, which is good, but she doesn't know what it is, which is bad. Hopefully you'll get some answers.

Looking at Tigger's spreadsheet, it is reminding me quite a bit of Jazzy's when she wasn't up to a good insulin dose yet. He is staying pretty high and flat most of the time. What would you think of increasing his dose more aggressively? With a cat that is over 5 units and still high and flat, sometimes we will suggest increasing by 0.5 units every 4 cycles until the numbers start to move. Then once you start seeing more consistent yellow you could slow down. That might help get him to a good dose more quickly. It looks like usually you are able to get spot checks in the evenings at least, so we would be able to see when the dose starts to work so we'll know when to slow down. What do you think? If you're still dealing with a lot of personal stuff, then you might not be ready to be aggressive yet, and that's fine too.
