Fed him a whole can of LC mixed with HC Gravy - did I do the right thing? Wow I am worried......! :o
 
You need to feed him MC or HC,OR Little Karo syrup, or some honey mixed into gravy --Is Napoleon OK??
Looks like he wants to surf--Needs foods, try mc or HC gravy straight on..
 
Thanks everyone, he surfed green most of the night between 50 and 60. Took his bg every hour at first then every 2 hours he is at 125 at +10. I fed him lc throughout the night as I had not read back on here since earlier tonight. He also had 4 temptations treats but they did nothing to give him a rise on bg. Should I doscrease back to 3f or is it safe to stay at this dose even with the drop that occurred? Thanks!
 
Hey Nim... you had a busy night... I did have a few of thoses with Trey. I fed him a little MC every hour to get him surfing and after the third night I caught on how he like it .He did drop to 43,41,23 on me but not the same night so I got use to the 50`s and they were not so bad but I liked to keep him higher 50`s 60`s....when he drops below 50 that is a dose decrease I think.... so you are on the right track..Just don`t feed him a lot at first because you have to feed often, later+6 he started to come back up them I mixed HC gravy with LC left him lots for his lunch...You will get the hang of it I was so scared but we are almost there now Living in the Green Hope you get here soon I will be here with you and you will gets lots of help...One thing to remember is... Breath.... that is the key.... ;-) ~O) :YMSIGH: :mrgreen:

We are not used to those numbers, I think that is why I panicked. I feel better about it now, I feel good we got there! Next time we get there I will feel much better about the whole thing. Kudos to you for your phenomenal job with Trey - he is a green boy!!! That is fabulous :mrgreen:
