Nice day for Mannie yesterday - we didn't make green - but the mid to lower blues were nice. :-D I took DGS on a mini hike yesterday, after Mannie's +4.5. It was apparent that he was dropping by +3, so I intentionally carbbed him up with some MC to keep him safe while we were gone. I really don't care for doing that, but.... better safe than sorry I guess. It sure must have worked, as he was high yellow when we got back. :roll: The PM cycle was nice, winding up with a lower blue surf. We are up once again this morning - but I hope he can get back on track with some blues and greens. Paws crossed! and Go Mannie! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :cool: :razz: :razz: And normal!! Kitty choir performed their duty, and made sure this really sleepy bean served the fuds on time. :cool: Civvie whacking was in full force: one better not cross in front of Mannie when he is en-route to the fuds bowl: Whack! :o :lol: :roll: The president, founder and CEO of the clean plate club made sure that he upheld his status - not a spec left... and then proceeded to raid the civvies bowls... the bean had to run and interception pattern. :shock: noooooooooooooo Mannie! Not for you - carbs are way up there..... He was not impressed with my antics. :lol: :lol: After a marathon face washing session the Nanner King has settled down for a quick nap, after rearranging the nanner pile, awaiting the opening of the doors... we have some great weather: yesterday, and today: 65-75, sunny. He awaits his outdoor duties: lawn rolling, sitting on his perch surveying the kingdom. Yep - all is well in MannieLand. :cool: :razz: :razz:

Have a great day everyone! I hope that all of you affected by the heat wave can find some cool and relief from the temps. I'm not too sure what is up here today. I had planned to go hiking today, but after thinking about all that needs to be done here (Ya know - all the fun stuff: shopping, cleaning, paying bills....), well... we postponed, and maybe tomorrow. After all - I have this spiffy new 'puter that I really want to get up and running...

Hey everybody!! What's up! Hey - you guys wanna go sailing? We have really great weather, and we are not hot, and there is LOTS of water here, and the mountains are so cool, and well... it should be fun! Anybody wanna come? maybe afterwards we can find a pool somewhere and chill out and grill and stuff... Let me knows! ~~ Mannie

Hey Mannie, you better be careful of what you say about that invitation... even though you were talking to the kitties, 'people' have been known to fly across the country to visit the cool Pacific Northwest. :lol:

Hi Michelle, nice report on Mannie and the kitty choir and all the whacking. What a neat crew! And Mannie trying to sneak some carbs, too. those two numbers are so close together that I bet, too, it's a food spike. Sometimes Maggie even has a food spike at +3 hours! Glad you were able to get in your hike yesterday. the pic of your DGS is so adorable! He is getting big and looks like he is having the time of his life. Have a nice day.

Hey Mannie, sailing up in your neck of the woods sounds like a terrific plan. I would love some cooler weather. Let's do it and then later find someone with a pool. Maybe Gracie and Tobey's pool! See ya as soon as we round up the others, too, Maggie

Nice cycle last night and Mannie....he's getting to it today!!! Good boy!! Esp now that he has a clean face because that is what it is ALL about.

Can I come sailing? :lol: :lol: I need the break and I LOVE to sail! Ok...I'll just send the kitters!

Mannie...what an awesome idea!! Sailing!!! And we can grill shrimp on the boat!!! Tobey's grabbing his water wings...we're on our way. We'll get Tess and Maggie on the way north!! PS...we're not gonna go fast are we??

Hi Angela - apparently that +2 was a food spike - as he has found the blue floor. Phew!! I will do my best to send the cooler temps - I think WA and OR could possibly be the only place where we can say 50's at 8AM.

Hi Ann - They are fun, all three of them. Very distinct personalities, and it's great to watch them interact. And yes, I think that +2 was a food spike... he's coming down nicely. Me too on yesterday's hike. The ones I do with DGS are very simple, short ones, things that have places we can stop, as I still have to get bottled food in him... places that are easy to backpack a baby. I have found that they can be as enjoyable as the "harder" stuff. It's nice to know that the PNW has an abundance of these kind of hikes. and thanks on DGS - he is getting big! 7 months in a few days - I don't know where the time goes...

Hi Marje - missed your post... aiyee!!---- last night was good - I hope that he will get back down there this AM - so far so good! paws crossed and all that. I mean he is SO CLEAN now that well --- let's bring it on! :lol: :lol: on the sailing... I really did wish I had access to that kind of stuff - as it will be one fine day out there on the waters.... what a beautiful warm, not hot, day it is here. very funny smilie btw.

Gracie - YAY!!! This will be so cool. I am thinking AFFIRMATIVE on the grillin' on the boat - we gots lots of shrimps here - we can catch them as we sail!! and crabs too!! and salmon!! and trout!!! uhhhhh.... no, ok uhhhhh.... no on the fast stuff.... I SWEAR! no fast stuff. See you !! ~~ Mannie

Hi Guys, nice progression downward today for Mannie. Too bad you had to give up a hike so you could do chores, Michelle! My house is a mess, but I'm just letting it chill for a couple of days. Too hot to work!! Thanks for visiting Rusty's condo while we were at Canoe Outing. He enjoyed spending time with his pals.

It was worth setting the day aside to get the old one prepped and backed up etc, and set up the new one - it no longer takes forever and a day for pages to load, and no more freeze-ups(so far) and SPEED!!!! omg - what a concept...oh boy oh boy oh boy!

Hi Ella - well we did have a nice progression, until that +10. darn it! It's OK on the hike... I think I will go tomorrow, Mannie be willing. I have had this new PC a week and haven't been able to take the time to set it up - it just takes a while with all the file and photo transfers etc... SO I just elected to do that - get it done! I am glad I did. I still have two days (sunday and monday) for hiking, so surely Mannie will cooperate on one of them - paws crossed. -- and I know on the housework when it is Hot - no way will I.... it can wait a day.

Hey Rusty - dude! Your beans are finally back?? I am glad.... we had such fun at your place - I LUBS the porches... :cool: Hey - we could do that - a moonlight sail! Why not!! Hi Marje... nope - I had to wait for delivery, and then I just didn't have the time I knew I'd need to get it all set up right - had to wait for an "off" day to spend some time with it. Just the system backup and the file/photo transfer alone took a few hours... it is nice though.... now I have to find another day to get some programs installed, cameras set up, printer,scanner, speakers, a few other necessities.... Anyways - it is NICE and very fast. Hooray!!!! -- and look!!!!!!!!!!!! The boy made green! :mrgreen:

Rusty - dude!! She's hogging the thing - I can't get any 'puter time... so unfair, ya know? I HAD TO SNEAK ON WHILE SHE WAS BUSY WITH DINNER.... cat(2)_steam major uncool! Wow...cool on the computer but lots of work. We were lazy...just had the Geek Squad do it all :lol: :lol: :lol: For $99, couldn't beat it; they did it in about 1/2 the time it would take us.

Mannie...you might be right on the earrings...yeah I got my bean's but just for tonight!!
