Good morning everyone,

We're still in the stinky pinkys over here. I'm hoping she can clear this bounce soon so we can see what this dose can do for her before I leave on my holiday. I ran out of my .5 unit syringes and have been using the bd ones, which I prefer, but I'm wondering if they measure the insulin differently. I'm taking Pakia and Nestor to the vet today so I'll pick up some more syringes so that we are just using one brand.

Hope everyone has a good day today:)

Now Ella... just because Rupert seems to have left his bouncing crown lying around, doesn't mean you have to pick it up and run with it! Didn't your mom tell you not to pick up garbage lying around?? hmmm??? hope she heads down soon!

Thanks for the visits Helen, Pip and Michelle:)

We're still wearing our pink number over here. She's looking high as a kite and uncomfortable:( When I'm in at the vet this afternoon I'm going to discuss bringing her in for another dental check. I'm wondering if it's a good idea to take her in before I go away on holidays or wait unitl I get back as I'm not too sure how long the aftercare lasts for and what it entails. I'm not sure my parents will be able to brush her teeth if they have to.

Hi Tamara, when do you leave on vacation? That's great your Mom can kittysit. Hope all goes well with the Vetty visit for Pakia and Nestor. Sending some good vines. Thanks for your vines for Maggie. Ella, please come down slowly for your MomBean and no drama.

Re: 7/23 Ella AMPS 331+2=349

Thanks for the vetty vines Ann:) We're back and Nestor checked out fine but Pakia gained 2lbs and the vet heard a little murmur. She had a murmur when she was one but the vets haven't heard one in four years so she said it might be due to the excitment of being there. She meowed all the way there and was extremely anxious the whole time so I'm hoping that caused it. The vet wanted to wait until the next visit to confirm if they need to investigate further. Ella is booked in tomorrow to get her mouth looked and get the preliminary blood tests for the dental. My vet is away until early August so we'll have to wait until we get back from vacation to do whatever needs to be done. I'm a bit miffed at the vet for not doing the probe check the last time we were there cause now I have to haul her in again and she hates it there. I guess she was preoccupied with the constipation issue but I did mention the quivering of the jaw and she peeked in Ella's mouth and said it looked like gingivitis. I hope all the probing wont make it worse as she'll have to wait three weeks to get anything done nailbite_smile . I was able to find someone to come and shoot Ella on the days my mom is at work:) This gal has a diabetic dog and lives in close proximity to my parents, yay!

Stinky stinkerton numbers over here. Could she still be bouncing or is this a failed reduction? Perhaps whatever is going on in her mouth is effecting her bg. I dunno, but I don't like it

Well Leo and i are sending Ella some nice calming vetty vines for tomorrows dental check up. I hope your other kitty doesn't have a murmur and it was just a nervous thing. Just think Ella, your teeth are going to feel so smooth and so much better once you have your dental done.

Ella i think you need to leave the stinky pinky floor and get back to better numbers soon.

Thanks Tamara for being one of our LL cheerleaders while we were in Colorado, Leo and i really appreciate it :-D

Have a great evening you two.
