Nelli was feeling quiet today. A senior day :-|
Had a nice poopthrough night or early morning :cat:, :bighug:.
Unsure about dosing (when?) the Miralax and/or the Lactulose. I never want her to go through what she did last Friday.
But also don’t want to give Miralax and/or Lactulose every day?
@Bronx's dad ... Do you have any word of wisdom on this? Does anyone else?

Hi Krystina. Sorry I haven't been on here much lately, been a busy summer.

Bronx gets 3ml of Lactulose twice a day and also 1/4tsp of Miralax one or two times a day depending on his appetite. I split it up throughout the day/eve in each of his meals. You can easily adjust the Lactulose dosage depending on how wet the stool is.

Thanks :bighug:. So it sounds like I should be giving Nel both every day-
How is Bronx doing :cat:... I noticed his doses have decreasing, decreasing compared to 5, 6 weeks ago. :)
 
Ewps, forgot to ask… Does Bronx take the lactulose straight? In other words does he like the taste of it or do you need to mix it in with something?

Yes! Down to 3u like a "normal" kitty :cat:. Bronx sometimes goes only every 4 to 5 days so I really try to get things going. Not sure if Nelli would need such an aggressive approach. IM vet actually suggested Lactulose 3x/day
