HAPPY SUNDAY!!!

Well, it's another scorcher here in the big city! It's 5:30pm and it's only dropped to 89 degrees. It was soooo humid this morning you could almost wipe it off your skin - GROSS!!!

We had an awesome day at church with a guest speaker, rapper, Trip Lee. He did a great job preaching from Mark about Jesus healing the demon possessed man and the church was packed! For several years, I served on the seating team for the 11am service. One of our former teammates was in from Texas, so 12 of us went to Pizza Inn for lunch and some catch-up time. Lots of fun and LAUGHTER!!! Laughter really is good medicine!

Unfortunately, I hadn't been able to get any lower carb kitty food for Oreo, so had to run to Pet Smart after lunch. We picked up FF Classic Turkey & Giblets and a couple of cans of FF Classic Chicken & Beef (couldn't remember the carb value for it). Didn't want to pick up too much, in case he won't eat it. It was a whopping $.03 off - what a sale ;-) - picked up Friskies Pate', too, as it was $.06 off on sale, making it the same price as Walmart and they had ALL the flavors. WHOOPIE! No going store to store to try to stock up...it's the little things that make me happy... :lol: Still haven't made it Walmart, but was sooo ready to get in out to the heat that I talked myself out of going...again...

All day long I've had this little voice in the back of my head wondering what Hershey's BG was since we had been gone pretty much the whole cycle...but, I tried to quiet it by reminding myself how HIGH he was this morning...

Your lunch does sound like fun, and yupp: laughter is very good medicine.

Nice on the fuds shopping! I believe that both FF items you mentioned are 3% carb, so nice and low. I hope Oreo likes them. Mannie does, especially the Beef and Chicken one.

Enjoy your day today - I hope it has been good, and that it will cool down some for you. I feel guilty - we are at 65....

Libby - you shoulda seen the FF section of Petco in Ft. Collins... it had to be 12' long!!! EVERY possible flavor, shelves as high as you could reach! Tracy stocked up - apparently there aren't that many varieties in Saskatoon... I've not seen that many varieties here either!

Gotta break out the limbo music... the 198 leads me to think he did really well today... HOW LOW DID HE GO??? (wait, I hear the music...) :lol:

See? It really is the little things that make us happy! :lol: I can see you in Petco - wide-eyed at the cat food and hear the Beverly Hillbillies theme in the background!! :lol: :lol: I play that for us a lot...like when we saw the two-story Wendy's in Boone for the first time! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Sorry I've been such a slacker today about visiting condos. Got home later than usual. Jessica baked chocolate chip cookies to send to her a brother and an Army friend. Then, my oldest called and we talked almost two hours. Been a long time since we talked that long. :-D

Now wondering if I should let him go until shot time or test +8...I don't think he'll drop much more, if any...

Hershey says, 'Thank you,' Liz. He's celebrating the green with a good stretch and more of his +5 food :-D

It was a safe bet. He seems to like to nadir after +6, especially if he's been on a dose for a few cycles. Hoping you chose "nap" over a +8.
Besides, he saw Asher and Shakes go green, and he didn't want to feel left out. :lol:

Hey, Carl - Looks like I could've chosen the longer sleep, but couldn't decide. Better than sorry and all that. Besides, it sure was nice to test & see another GREEN! :cool:

Yay, Hershey!!!!! Go, Hershey, Go! What a great day he's had! Libby, maybe you ought to go out more often. :lol: Just kidding, of course. Hershey is turning the corner. Once they start having days like this, they start coming more frequently.

It sounds like you had a nice day today. Glad you had fun. You may be staying up tonight with Hershey so grab a nap if you can. It looks like I'll be here to keep you company though.
