Good morning (or good afternoon in most cases)!

I think Cleo might be feeling better than me today! I ate something that didn't agree with me too well yesterday so my stomach is a little uncertain today, but Cleo's appetite appears to be in good form.

She's looking pretty good today, her coat is feeling healthier (less greasy) and the dandruff has been steadily decreasing over the last couple days. She looked like an avalanche had hit her when we got her back from the vet last week. She still has some dandruff, but she's been a little dandruffy her whole life.

More to come as the day goes on, I'm sure

Glad you are feeling better, Kathy.

Just a note: when you get a +2 that is that much less than the AMPS, you want to be prepared for a more than normally active cycle. A typical lantus curve has the +2 similar or close to the PS. In that scenario, you would expect the numbers to come down to nadir. When the +2 is much less than the PS, you can expect there might be a more active cycle. Of course, today Cleo is making a liar out of me :roll: :roll: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

But just be aware. ;-) ;-)

It seems to be her pattern so far. Her BG drops like a rock in first 2 hours, nadir is around like... +4ish and the comes back up toward the end of cycle... I know it's only been a week, but that's what I'm seeing so far.

Looking so good here Cleo!! Yes Kathy, Marje is right, when the +2 is lower that much like today, you know that there will be some action during the cycle..Moonie nadirs between +4 and +5, then begins to go back up--Lately she has been having flat cycles like today..that is also good...
The 93 Cleo had today is great & you are doing right by Cleo--She is getting better!
Look at the dandruff clearing up, & the happier kitty! Every improvement in her behavior or health just proved that it is all coming together :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:..

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement! I will definitely bear your excellent advice in mind.

She did go back up at the end of the cycle, after being in nice blues and greens all day.

I am going to continue her at 1U tonight and tomorrow AM, and then probably up to 1.25U tomorrow evening when I can monitor her again. I'm not comfortable increasing the dose when I won't be home to keep an eye on her.
