AMPS 571 .7U Ouch, again with the high morning preshot.

PMPS 348 .7U Poor Sam needs to come down.

This dose is just a hair over the 1/2 unit mark so I don't know what to call it.

if you could work in more testing, sue, especially around +4-7, you would get some ideas about how to get these high numbers down. i don't mean to be unkind because i know how awful the last month has been, but these kinds of numbers are terribly hard on sam's body. you mentioned his kidneys yesterday - my vet said that organ damage starts at sustained numbers of over 225.

Just saying hi! How is DH doing? How about you?

Hope Sammy's numbers improve. Wonder if he is going low overnight? I don't have the foggiest clue with Lantus. Hopefully you'll be able to sneak a few more spot tests in and figure out the puzzle.

I'm hoping to get in a curve this weekend or at least a mini one. It has been a horrible 2 months really, and I hate Sam's numbers being so high which is why I upped the dose. It's really a fat .5u. I'm just over the line on the half unit mark.

Joanna: The DH is now at the rehab hospital. He's supposed to come home next Thursday the 28th but that is pretty optimistic I think. They are thinking another week now so he might be home the 4th of August. I sure hope so. I miss him something awful.
