Two days ago and yesterday Neko did a lot of blue which was perfect while I was gone during the day at a regatta. I upped the dose back up last night.

I got lots of purrs last night and some good snuggles. This morning I did the first muscle stretch for a couple of days and got complaints for my efforts.

Short condo today, I'm off to the island to pick up DM and take her to ER. She fell last week and didn't want to bother me or DB but sounds like she really needs X-rays. Vines appreciated.

Sending vines that she didn't break anything and recovers quickly from the fall. I'm glad Neko looks like you won't need to worry while you are gone. I hope you had a great rest of the race.

Sending prayers for your DM. I'm glad Neko stayed safe while you were at the regatta. I hope her muscles get used to the stretching again.

I'm so glad Neko stayed safe while you were at the regatta - good girl Neko! Sending tons of healing and anti-stress vine for you and your DM, that's just like my mom, not wanting to alarm or disturb anyone. Hope she didn't break any bones, and I hope she lives close enough to Victoria, or is there another ER close by? Otherwise, that's a long drive and ferry ride for you!

Good job, Neko, staying safe while your beans were out and about. Many vines for DM. Keep us posted.

DH was in charge for the day and PMPS. Long day for me, even longer for DM. Turns out she has fractures in her pelvis in two places. No wonder it hurt! One of the places she broke was almost the same location as I fractured 14 years ago, so I have a pretty good idea what she's going through. There is no X-ray capability on her island, so I had to bring her back to North Vancouver to the hospital here. And it's pretty close to my house. DM is now staying in the hospital, although unfortunately tonight in a room in ER until they find a ward room, and there are 4 crying children according to DM's last report. @-)

Neko was a good girl, even dipped her toes in the lagoon. I let her out early evening and she was chasing bugs. Even running a little bit. :-D And DH just witnessed the demise of a big brown moth in the solarium. Num num!

I forgot to mention that I beat my goal for the regatta. I wanted to place top 10 - there were ten teams in my category. And we weren't last. :-D I was in a double with someone I just started rowing with a few weeks ago so we were reasonably happy with how we did.

@Elise, Amy, Carla, Ruth, Catherine, Liz - Thanks for visiting. The staff at the ER were amazed at how tough my mother is. Sometimes too tough I think. I takes me about an hour in travel time plus some ferry terminal wait time to get to my parents place, so not too bad. Neko was well behaved again today.

The first fracture my mom ever had was in her pelvic bone. We took her for x-rays and they told us they were negative. Then we got a call a few days later to correct their error. Like your mom, mine was too stoic as well. They didn't hospitalize her though. How long will you mom need to be there? I hope it isn't too painful but from my memory it was for my mom and you said it was as well. I wish her a speedy recovery. Congrats on the regatta.
