WCR: mocha must of surfed the blues and high greens last night .. this 3.0 seems to be working good for her ... I hope she stabilizes soon on it.
Off topic, twix has a sore on her mouth in two spots which will require a trip to the vets for yet another steroid shot. I believe they are rodent ulcers, just not as bad as the ones she has had in the past. I don't know why she is getting them more and more anymore. her food hasn't changed and as far as we know, she has not gotten into mochas food. We stand guard each time they eat and are never left unattended. I thought "allergies" if that is what rodent ulcers are a part of, were supposed to lessen with age, it seems as though they are getting worse with twix. She never had any of these problems before a year ago.
I don't mind scraping up the money for the vets, its simply the fear of her getting these steroid shots that makes me sick to my stomach. I dont know what we would do if twix ever became diabetic and I know I say this each time she get's one of these and a vet visit is required but it's true. She isn't a cat we can get within a foot or two of before she runs away. She doesn't let us hold her. She doesn't let us catch her. I know not every cat that gets steroid shots get's diabetes, but that is how our luck goes. It's a horrible feeling to go to bed worrying about her and what will happen and the minute I wake up the worrying starts all over again.
