Good Morning LL!! (yummmmmmmmmmm.... !!), and Happy Sunday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! so. well. anyways. Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot Cappuccinos with extra foam, made from beans from High in the mountains of Jamaica. And for all his fans: a Venti quad dutch apple infused white mocha, with caramel whip, garnished with caramelized apple clusters, white chocolate shavings and a caramel drizzle..... SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of apple and vanilla swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with crystallized apple bits and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are along for the ride!

Happy Sunday everyone! I really have so little to report. :roll: Caturday was errand, shopping and laundry day. Such excitement! All were done fairly early in the afternoon, just in time for the arrival of Nicholas and William. Mom and Dad were off to Dad's HS Reunion, so the boys stayed with me while they went to reminisce. ;-) We did manage to have a sunny afternoon yesterday, so the boys and I went for a very short walk, spent some time in the back yard. William handled that fairly well. Nicholas of course got to play guide. William slept most of the afternoon, giving Nicholas and I a chance to hang out, read stories, watch some baseball, and eat ice cream. Evening William was wide awake. YAY! Nicholas really is a good helper, helped me with thievery everything (ETA: fixed after the fact :lol: ) related to William, right down the he bottles and the diapers. :lol: All in all a good time! Lola, Bug and Elsa had a very mellow Caturday too. They slept! Sheshhhh! Seems to be their new pattern, sleep during the day, play and be crazy at night. Except for Lola is is always crazy. Bug has also learned how to turn off the computer. Thank you Bug! I really do need to do something with the location of that power switch. :lol: :lol: :lol: Lola has decided too that the LB kernels (it's the Breeze system, just pellets) make excellent hockey pucks. :roll: :roll: She scoops them out and then bats them around on the floor. :shock: what a mess..... Last night Elsa spent time with the nanners. It caught my attention because she did exactly what Mannie used to do. She made a bed out of them, and slept on top of the pile. She's never done that before, that I know off. She had that look on her face, sort of a sadness look, I think she misses him still, and this was her way of remembering.

Morning Dyana and thanks! I am sure they did. She snuggled own for a bit, and then off she went, back to doing Elsa things. It was nice to see that she still remembers Mannie.

Morning Michelle, sounds like a nice time with both Nicholas and William. Little William so cute and looks like he sleeps well. Cute pics of them, too. It will be so much fun taking the two of them places. So nice with Nicholas loving to help.
Oh my with Lola making hockey pucks from the Breeze system. :lol: :lol: Sorry I can't help but laugh just visualizing this scene. Bug and Lola sure are lively ones.
Aww....bittersweet with Elsa and the nanners. Maybe she felt Mannie's presence there laying on his nanners. I just want to pick her up and hug her.

Elsa, many thanks for the Triple Espressos and 10 Hour Energy coffees, so so good.

Thanks for visiting us during Canoe Outing week. Rusty was glad for the company. Looks like you had a good week of adventures. Love the pics of Nicholas and William. Nicholas is such a help--a great big brother!

I'm sure that Elsa is missing Mannie and that sleeping on his nanners is her way of being close to his spirit. They may be communing.

Thank you, Elsa, Kitteh Barista, for that great triple espresso this morning. Did we ever need it after a week of bad coffee at the Canoe Outing! I must say that you have your paws full keeping order in your house. Lola and Bug need supervision, that's for sure!!

Have a lovely day, Michelle. Chores for us today. But our weather has improved, so it won't be so hard to do all the work outside of the house, getting ready for the contractor on Tuesday.

That's so sweet Nicholas wants to help with William. I love the picture of them sleeping on the blanket together.

I hope Elsa sleeping on the nanners helped her feel closer to Mannie.

HI everyone! I have just returned from today's hiking adventure. WOW! What a great day. We had sunny skies, mid 90's over by Leavenworth, and a nice breeze to keep things cool on the trail. Today's hike was at Icicle Gorge, near Leavenworth. It's a gorge hike, with Icicle Creek running through the center of the Gorge. The trail is a loop trail, crossing the creek in two spots. Views are outstanding! Creek is too. To me it is more like a river, there is alot of water that goes down that Gorge. I made several stops along the way to my hiking destination, just to explore. The hike itself is not a difficulty one, nor is it long, so I took the opportunity to visit several waterfalls sites and river sites along the way. Sure was pretty out there! I took way too many photos. OMG: I came home with 580 pics. :shock: That is so me.... :lol: I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's Loose Lips condo.

Hi Hillary - of that I m certain.She had the pile just like he used to do. I thinks he probably was, laying with her too. And yes, I have talked with her about that, especially right after he left us. It's a few times a week now, but I still do.

Hi Ann - THX, yes it was a good time. I enjoyed it, even as busy as it was. William does OK in the sleep dept, my DD just wishes it was longer than it is. Babies! :lol: I thinks o too when we stat to do our outings - it will be fun to have both. I can so see Nicholas wanting to show his little brother the ropes. ;-) Yes on Lola and Bug: that they are. it's OK on laughing at the LB thing - I did too. It as just too funny not too. I'm sure she'd love those hugs! And yes on Elsa and the nanners - I thought so too. I think she did feel his presence.
