Good Morning everyone! Julia and I have been MIA but we're still plugging along. On Thursday Mom and I were all ready to shoot the 115 and I was kind of excited to see what happened. However, I was at work at Mom was at home. I can't talk too loudly where I am so when I said "go ahead" she didn't hear me. I didn't realize until I called her to do a +3 and she asked if she could shoot yet. OOPS!
"What we have here is a failure to communicate!" So, we had to reset the cycle (again) Thursday evening and this morning we shot a falling number for the first time. Julia still bounces like Tigger but she's doing okay. We have a testing spot set up and more often than not she'll hold still for her test. Her squirmy butt didn't want to sit still this morning though so Mom held her. *Knock on wood* We haven't had any peeing on the couch. Leaking maybe but not outright peeing. We make sure to put her by her box in the bathroom a few times a day and she knows to come out of the bathroom she has to pee. Most times she does with no problem within a minute or two. Empty tank=dry couch.
We're on the 6th shot at this dose so we could think about an increase at some point. My thought based on what I read is that we'd wait out the full 5 days / 10 consecutive cycles to see what happens. I want to see if we can get her used to a dose (my fault in there too for the skip and communication issue on Thursday) and stop this silly bouncing. Last night we only hit one 300 number before coming down again. Any opinions are welcomed!
Hoping all kitties get to surf green today and the beans can enjoy some much needed rest before Monday comes back around.
