Not a great start to the day. I'm very perplexed as to why he seems to be on such a rollercoaster. He hasn't done that in such a long time. I'm almost tempted to put him on a higher dose just so he stays a consistent green which I can manipulate with food. I can't manipulate rising numbers or 200 point drops at +2 (who can ever see that coming in order to carb in advance?!!). I can definitely see the effect the rollercoaster ride is having on him. He looks like he's not feeling well...just kind of mopey and blah. I was really hoping he would be his perky Champer self when I took him into the vet tomorrow so they wouldn't have anything to say about how I'm handling his diabetes care. His numbers are dropping today, but it's just such an up and down thing. Oh well, he does seem to feel better today than he did yesterday.

I have a high school reunion this weekend. My dad was in the military and I attended high school in England. The reunion is being held here in Las Vegas, which makes it convenient for me, but I think I'll only be able to go say hi on Friday night after my daughter gets home from work at 7:30, unless, of course, Champ cooperates with his numbers. We all know, though, that Champ is the master at dropping low at night....very seldom in the daytime, always at night!!! I guess we'll just have to see how it goes.

Hi Patty, sorry to hear Champ is not feeling his perky self with the roller coaster ride. I don't know either why this happens, as I see it some in Maggie, up and down we go! I do hope it works out that you can stay at least a while at your reunion, depending on Champ. Good luck at the Vet tomorrow. Is this just a routine check-up, I hope. Have a good night.

It's a roller coaster for the beans as well. Hang in there is will improve. I hope you get to go see your friends, how great they are having it right there.

Champers! Tell Mr L it is all right! No need to panic! Those green numbers are really a fun place to be!

Champ certainly visited all the floors today. That is so frustrating, but he will turn it around and be back to his old bouncy self in no time. We all have our down days, even the kitties. Hugs to you Patty. I know it is frustrating. Hopefully you can get out a little this weekend and enjoy the festivities. Have a great night!

Hey Patty: hope you can get him to flatten out a bit. I'm glad to see he got into green today.

We had a big h.s. reunion (Goose Bay, Labrador for me) in LV but I didn't go..we had sumpthin else going on.

I hope you have lots of fun!!!

Hi Patty - your story sounds so much like mine.... Mannie was the best at roller coaster rides, dives and bonces, you name it - he did it. Eventually it all just stopped. we still do have a few days where this isn't the case, but overall, so much better. Champ will get there too - hang in there, just keep doing what you are doing, it will all come together. You've done great with him. I hope he feels better - sometimes these wild rides makes them feel out of sorts.

Nice +7.5 - I hope he surfed well from there on out.

Good luck with the reunion - I hope you can go.
 
Neither Danielle nor I can stay up doing pokies tonight so Champ better get his butt up just a little bit. I'd like to see some 80's please!!
