Good morning, LL! Happy Caturday!
Sending recovery vines to KT and Jupiter today, and still keeping ((Kathie)) in my thoughts.

Ripley is doing great today.
She once again tried waking me at her usual T/F/S time ~ she forgot that I'm enjoying a little sleeping-in time. (Or trying to enjoy, rather.) I quietly explained to her that she will eat, but she needed to wait about 30 more minutes. After a couple of feeble attempts of waking me with gentle paw-pats on my closed eyelids, she finally gave up and plopped her body across me.

She ate about half her breffis then followed me outside to help me feed the turtle and chickens. She decided to stay out back for a while. Smart kitty. It's currently only 58 degrees, but soon will rise to 105 :o .

OT: Day 2 of our First Ever Wedding Anniversary Weekend Celebration Staycation Extravaganza continues with waffles for breakfast, then we are meeting up with my family for lunch (my parents, sister, and 2 nieces). Then DH and I are going out for dinner at one of our favorite nice restaurants. (Yesterday we went to the State Fair. My tummy still hurts from all the fair food I didn't need to eat :? :lol: .)

Morning Josie, I so enjoy hearing how hard Ripley works to get his MamaBean up, only to collapse in the end and plop on top of you. :lol: How cute she follows you outside while you feed the turtle and chickens.
It was only 61 degrees earlier, and I thought it too chilly to take my walk. It will warm up later/

Hi, Ann :-D Haha! The title of our weekend keeps changing and getting longer... wonder what it'll be tomorrow... :lol: Ripley often follows me around the house & yard (unless she's out somewhere celebrating an OTJ kitty :-D ). She's a good helper.

Hi, Pam :-D I obviously was selfish this morning, putting my sleep-needs before Ripley's fuds-needs. She's good at reminding me who's Queen in this house :lol: . Thanks on the celebration weekend :-D .

Hi Josie. Nice slide into the Lagoon by Ripley this morning. You're lucky she let you go back to sleep, PF would never have done that. Hope she has a nice safe surf at the Lagoon.

Ripley's attempts to wake you up via paw so reminds me of my BJ. She always did that - every morning, always on the face. Sure does bring back memories. :-D

Hi, John :-D Yes, I am lucky that Ripley respects my BTB time. Sleeping is her #1 priority, so she 'gets it.' :-D :lol: Thanks on the anniv. wishes. I'm glad Ripley and PF get to hang out in the lagoon together! Yaaaay PurrFace!!

 Awww so sweet that BJ was a pawer, too. I like to think that Ripley is reciprocating pets to me. ;-) :smile:

Ripley had a good afternoon. My whole family was here earlier, all 7 of us crammed into our tiny home, and Ripley came out of the bedroom to show off her rolling-on-cat-nip-toys skills. Everyone was quite impressed.

Hi Josie,

So glad you are enjoying your staycation/anniversary! Fair food is so good, but we pay for it!

Thanks for letting Ripley come to Cleo's party. They had such a good time!! Ripley is a very good helper! She helped keep Cleo's goofy brothers in check so they didn't embarrass her with alot of butt sniffing!!
