Yesterday was..... hmmmmm.... blue and yellow day! It actually was an OK day for Mannie. He had some nice blues mid cycle in the morning, and did recover very nicely from a really ugly PM cycle bounce the day before. I was happy to see him clear that Monster as soon as he did. Well done Mannie! So.... back to all those nice blues today? You on hoard? I see head nodding.... COOL! Lubs ya big guy!

All is well in MannieLand. It was so fun to watch DGS and Mannie interact first thing in the morning. Mannie now waits for him on his nanner pile. :lol: The nanners were dispensed down Mannie's back -well the ones that he wasn't laying on were. :lol: :lol: Once satisfied that all was well with Mannie's decor, DGS gets down on his knees and proceeds to wrap his arms around Mannie. One went under his chin/neck area, the other under his tail/legs. The biggest hug ever was then laid upon, and around, the Manster. :shock: Impressive! Mannie didn't flinch, move a muscle, utter a word. Nor did the tail start twitching. He just sat there and let Nicholas hug him, all of him. :shock: Mannie - you are one cool dude! This morning we had a great test, shoot and clean plate club (YAY), AND the auto feeder is back to being used by Mannie, again :shock: ,yet Elsa still thinks it has her name on it, yet again.... so I am back to running interception on the feeder.... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone. I am still on DGS duty today - YAY!!! The little guy still has a cold though, so maybe no pool this week -we shall see how that goes, and if he feels like going.We are going to just wing it today and see how he is when he gets here. If all fails - back to the river! I hope to be able to visit condos later in the evening. Sure will miss you guys and your furkids. Think blue, think green kitties!

What a day yesterday! all that stuff we did: the paddle and the hike and the ziplines!!! and then the KTSS for Leo and Grayson, and then their homecoming party plans and and and - we be busy! I think we need a chillaxin' day! PHEW! Hey Rusty - can we come to your porches and just hang out? I'll bring the niptinis! and something to grill. You guys in? ~~ Mannie

And completely OT: Here are some photos from DGS's and my adventure yesterday - Snoqulamie River. As with the day before DGS had such a good time while there, and completely forgot that he had a cold. This river spot is off of I90, and a very popular area. We ave found one spot there where nobody stops - so it has become "our Place" - a nice gorgeous spot right on the shore of the river. As in Beckler, it is incredibly beautiful there, well worth the 1.5 hour drive that it took to get there. DGS had fun throwing rocks in the river, picking some flowers, gathering sticks, and just hanging out at rivers edge. it was so nice to see his face light up when we arrived and parked the car. He could hear the river, he knew where he was, even while in a deep sleep..... Mannie and Nicholas have such a wonderful routine...so sweet!

Thanks Amy, I think so too! they get along so well, Amazing for any kitty to be a docile as Mannie is with young children.

Morning Camille - yupp! that would be Mannie. more often than not we are in the three days to clear category. Sometime he will do it in one. One just never knows with him. Never a dull moment in MannieLand. :lol: I'd love to see some green too - paws crossed!

Hi Michelle, thanks on the and with all the typos I'm making the caffeine should help. It looks like Mannie is coming down as it's a nice yellow. I know most of you can tell by the +2 what a kitty may do, but it's strange with Mags as it's never worked that way. I wish it were so though! Hope Mannie gives permission today. So cute with the hugging Mannie. That definitely calls for a video, pretty please if it works out! :lol: Great pics of little DGS having the time of his life. Have a great day.

WOO HOO! What a ride. The Blue Mannie Group is back, and performing live on Rusty's Porches!


Nicolas and I did make it to the pool. Mannie was close to nadir, so we fed the boy some of his Favorite Florentine, and headed on out. It was great to get Nichols back in the pool: one excited happy kid. It was even more wonderful to come home 2.5 hours later to a 147. Well done Mannie! WOO HOO!!

Hi Liz - I think he changed his mind.... :lol: :lol: :lol: Never dull moment with the Manster. Could be too on the micro bean - OR he he just really wanted some really good fuds. He knows me so well.... knew I'd feed him so the microbean and I could have a few hours at the pool. I am SO TRAINED! :lol: :lol:

Hi Ella - thanks! Didn't make the river, Mannie was in dive mode, but no worries! the pool was up then, and Mannie is surfing so we will do one of the shorter river trails this afternoon. That one has ducks! :lol: :lol:

Hi Ann - LOL on the typos remark - I do that all the time. I think I spend ore time correcting it than actually typing it. :lol: :lol: And yes - Mannie did head on down, rather well actually. Last test I got was a 129, I bet he went a tad lower before Finding his board. YAY!! Yes, I know most can tell by the +2. Mannie will, more or less give you a clue, but then he will always change the game plan after that. I don't always get what I expect - silly cat! So.... we sorta got a permission slip, and used it to our advantage! I will try on that video. I should have had my camera with me - as I know better - but didn't.... :roll: Thanks too on the pics: he really did have a great time!

295@ PMPS. WOO HOO! What a day for Mannie. I would have loved to have been here for his nadir. I think maybe he made green - maybe. No one knows but Mannie, and he isn't talking. :? :lol: I hope this PM bounce up to the yellows is a short one. Paws crossed!

DGS and I had a great day. His cold is much better, only a few coughs, no runny nose (lol: yet), and he just seems to feel better. He still a little on the tired side, but was ready to go do anything today. SO we went to the pool, and then to a local park on the Sammamish River, where he could visit the ducks, and play in their play yard. FUN Stuff. I will post photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Ann - OMG on Tess: No pinks and straight to Mannie's floor. That would wake you up - so much for this late nadir lev is supposed to have huh! - I knew they were in cahoots - Mannie kept texting someone today.. darn cats and their cell phones! --- :lol: :lol: :lol: on Nicholas standing in the river (and I know! why bother skipping the pool! This was even COLDER!)- this is so true and I did think the same thing. He is not happy unless he is up to his knees in it. sheshhhhh..... kid loves the rivers as much as the pool. ---- and so agreed on spell check! and on the MOST of my mistakes.... :? :?

Hi Barb - I missed your post! sorry! Mannie has that uncanny ability to know what I need numbers wise, and more often than not that is what i get. Today was great for him, and it still gave DGS and I the chance to go out for a while. HAHA!: love the grammatical reference. - oh I dunno - made perfect sense to me! ad me too on the "microbean" - too too funny! :lol: :lol:

Mannie, what are you doing up there? Well, like you said Michelle, at least you can get in a good rest after a fun filled day with your DGS. He is adorable and I love the hug story, I can picture that because when my DS was that age, he would try and do that to our kitty. Of course most kitties don't allow hugs from "microbeans" (too funny)! Mannie is a special little kitty for allowing hugs. cat_pet_icon

Hi Barb - I know! What is he doing way up there! :? there is a small part of me that is glad that I can sleep -after three says of DGS I am tired. fancy that! :lol: :lol: And shanks - I think so too on Mannie. Not many kitties that will allow "micorbeans" (yes: funny!!) hug like that. It was way cute!
