Clara, before you take a nap, can you give him a snack of the 9 lives please. And I think I would test again in 30 minutes to see the BG is rising not falling.

Yes, take rest. Could you please ask Al to feed Macho a teaspoon of 9 Lives? And test after an hour?

:cat: ok but very small portion otherwise he is going to get full again.

He has eaten already one can of ff pate and a spoon of 9 lives.
 
Good morning. I’m so happy that you remembered the need to keep him hungry. Later we need to talk about how to set the auto feeder. Now that Macho is in blue and even green at preshot please post and wait for instructions before giving his insulin. In that case you dint feed until someone answers you.

Feed one spoon regular and check in one hour. If he doesn’t go down you can then not give food and check in two hours. He won’t need his lunch unless hungry or the number falls.
 
Don’t shoot tonight until you get an okay. We very well might take a reduction. We need to make adjustments to your signature so please ask your dad to post when he is home from work.

Yes you can give him some food if he wants it.
 
I think you are good until pmps. Let him eat a little if he wants but pick up all food until pmps. If he’s had enough to eat that is fine.

can i give Macho more food like his regular ff pate since he is bouncing? he still hungry. I only gave him half can at pmps =7pm.

Bouncing is normal and to be expected. The longer we can keep him in blue and green the less bouncing hopefully. It gives you two a break. You might not need to be up late tonight. He’s already coming down. Get a +4. Regular lc is fine.
