Well, its day 13, I never thought I would be typing that. A little higher this morning, maybe she is just anxious cause its just one more day of the trial. Hope thats what it is. She never did look like many other kitties here. She's been, since the beginning, a bit strange I thought. She stayed in blues and greens almost the whole time, and she was always flat too. So I hope she will just continue what she has been doing for as long as she can. That's about all I can ask of her.

This is a happy time, but also a sad time. I feel I'm leaving on a trip, and won't be with my family, my LL family. I know its only been a short time together, but I formed a very fast attachment to so many beans, and especially kitties. I see their little faces in my mind from the board pics, and will miss that a lot. I will of course visit, but it won't be the same, I know that. I also know my body needs this break, even if it doesn't last. So I am happy too for that reason, and of course seeing Daphne look this healthy is so amazing to me.

I am going to start her on the Adequan for her arthritis soon, and I hope it will work for her, and not upset her BGs. I will be testing a bit more when I start that.


Well, like I said, I'm sad today, never thought I would say that, but I am, I will miss this place. :cry:

Sending healing vines to all the kitties and beans who need them today.

Wow, this is so exciting, day 13! Daphne is doing wonderfully and the timing works out well with what you need too. Such a considerate kitty. Good luck on the Adequan, I hope it helps a lot.

((((barb)))) - you feel free to stop in and open/post in Loose Lips any time you want! or just like amy did for ruby yesterday, open your own condo for an update on daphne. this also frees you to do what devon does - travel around to other's condos and encourage people. once you're part of LL, i think you're always part.

Woohoo, Daphne!!! Yes, it's mixed emotions when a kitty goes OTJ - couldn't be happier for the kitty and beans but then we miss them in LL.

Well, the 83 looks a lot better, I was a little scared when I saw the 102, but she came down after she had her dinner (2 hours after).

Thanks Wendy, yes, I hope the Adequan works, I know it will take a few weeks, but I hear it does a great job.

I am on Facebook, but I only go on to see what my college DS is up to, and I have family that we found in Italy on Facebook, and so thats about all I do. I just can't stand to sit and type for any lenght of time, so I never look for friends, its just too painful.

Thanks Liz, I think I will come back to visit, at least to check up on our LL kitties. I love all of them!
 
Barb, I am very happy for you and for Daphne. She won't be getting pokies so much any more.
It will be a rest for you too. I know you'll come see us, when you can. You know you'll miss us :-D

((((Barb))))) ....what an important part of our LL family you and Daphne are and always will be.....you can always rent a condo here to just tell us how you all are doing. You've gone a fabulous job with her especially considering all you've had going on with your health, DMIL and DFIL. I hope you have a wonderful, restful trip. We'll be here.

Happy Day 13!!!! I understand the mixed emotions, but it really is a very happy time...all of LL is celebrating your's and Daphne's success! Even if you can't visit often, you are always part of LL.

And YES...dinner is a definite!!! Name the time (other than a Thursday, since I work late!) and place and I'll be there!

Don't be sad. Once you're a part of LL you're always a part of LL. We are family and we all need your help and your encouragement, especially those of us who are in it for the long haul. So right now, think of the great thing you and Daphne have accomplished: OTJ tomorrow!! Rusty is so looking forward to Daphne's party. He's got his dancin' shoes and his grillin' apron all ready for the big night.

Marje, thank you so much for all of your help, you are the one that was a big part of our lives for the last 8 or so months, and you practicaly held my hand through so many days and nights and many pms.

Amy, I'm so happy that I have a little piece of LL just a few minutes away from me, it somehow doesn't make me seem so far away from LL. I'll be in touch.

I do hope I can put what I have learned to some use for others now. I know I'll never be one of the "wise ones", I rather leave that to the real wonderful "wise ones", but its nice to feel needed, even if its for a little encouragement to others from time to time.

See you all at the party!!!! We are going to be on the deck tomorrow, with of course Daphne, in her princess chair, and I'll have pics, I hope.
