My wonderful daughter stayed up ALL NIGHT testing Champ every half hour or so. We just wanted to let him surf, only carb him up if he was below 60, and she did a great job. She said she gave him some food at 3 a.m. or so, but she was so cranky I didn't dare ask her why! :lol: :lol: Was it because he was hungry or because she wanted to go to bed!! Poor girl's in bed and I think I'll let her sleep until whenever. :-D

Champ was one tired little fellow this morning, but he knew when it was time for breakfast and led the way into the kitchen. He purred the whole time I was setting up his test equipment and syringe and it continued while he ate. I don't remember ever hearing Champ purr while he ate!! :-D Even though his little ear must have been sore, he even purred during his pokie!! Champ is such a little champ!! He deserves a kitty butt wiggle!! dancing_cat

Well, I've already been working for 2 hours and have a whoooolllleee lot more to go so off to work for me. I hope everyone has a really wonderful Wednesday!! :-D

Love those etaing-purring kitties!! Moonie purrs while I feed her in the napper, when she eats snax, & has a pretty quiet purr! Champ & Moonie had the same amps today--

I seriously think Champ is looking for another shave in dose. I just gave him his regular FF for his +3 meal and then added a tbsp of HC. I need to buy stock in glucose test strips. I'm making someone very rich.

Hi Patty, and wow at the +2 @ 50! I guess Champ doesn't want you to work just yet. How nice of your daughter to take over testing Champ last night. I bet she is tired. Have a nice day and I'll have to check back on Champ later as on my way otd shortly. Hope he surfs today.

Wow Champ has been doing excellent lately, and boo that you and the DD are exhausted from the lack of sleep. But give Danielle a pat on the back for being such a good sister and taking care of Champ last night.

Leo is also a purry tester, and eater, all i have to do is put down the testing equipment and the purring begins! :-D

This is why I hate using Karo. I've only used it once before and same effect...raises his BG too much. Unfortunately, it's all I had because the HC I've been using hasn't been enough to get him into the 60's. I've been using 9-Lives sliced beef and gravy which is listed at like 24% carbs. Champ used to be very carb sensitive and MC would bring him up just perfect, but now MC does nothing at all. I'm going to get some different MC and HC foods in and some experimenting and see what works for Champ. Nothing is ever easy with Champers...he makes me work way too hard!! :-D

Hey, I guess Champers was going for the shave. :mrgreen: Don't worry about that spike from the Karo, when I use it for Tess it only lasts about 2 hours. That is why I do like it, she tends keep going up even further w/ the higher carb foods.

Congrats to your daughter for doing such a terrific job last night. And Champ looks great today. Looks like a little bit of a decrease might be in order.

Champ has been busy, busy, busy! It looked like he sure gave Gracie a run for her money with that dive last night - crazy! Very sweet of your DD to stay up all night and help out.

I hope you guys can get some rest tonight!!

*sigh* I seriously thought these high bounces were a thing of the past. I knew something was going on with Champ this afternoon because he looked sick, like he really did not feel well at all. He's not used to the 300's anymore and they really seem to affect him now. His +2 shows promise, but I need to find a way to stop his high dives down and express elevators up. I'm hoping to keep him on this dose for a while....if I can keep him from diving down to the basement just about every day!!
