7/20 - Alice: AMBG 61: PMBG 69: Tonight 42

So Alice was 61 at 7 AM. Is that too low for the first test of the day? As long as she's not getting any extra insulin in the form of a shot, 61 should be a normal number, I assume? She just ate and I'll do a +2 later.

Yesterday was the first day Alice tested GREEN all day (5 tests). :mrgreen:

Good morning Geneva! I would say thats a good ambg since she hasnt had any insulin, and you need not worry. So I see you are doing an OTJ trial? so is this day 3? When was her last shot. Again..so happy for you and Alice that she is doing great!

Alice is doing great. I'm proud of her ... from day one, she has been a wonderful patient, so cooperative and laid-back.

She had a .25u shot at 7 AM on Wednesday, July 16. Today is Sunday, July 20. Not a shot since! :razz:

Tonight at what would have been a +2, Alice's BG was 42. This was about 2 hours after she finished eating her supper.

Edited to add: Tested her again an hour later and she was back up to 62.
