LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! AND!!!! Lola and Bug are going to try their paws at making the Cornuts and the dunking cookies. I dunno about the cookies, TJ's really are mega good, But they wants to try.... They say expansion of their pizza making business is a good thing. Me: I still want to makes coffee, but will add their line if you guys likes them. What's you think? For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. Dor my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls.... OH! No worries, a dollop of orange, chocolate curls, and vanilla swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! SWEET!
I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. I sure did: hike was wonderful, but very longgggggggggggggggggggggg, a d I didn't even do all of it! Boy did I veer feel those miles this morning. and my feet! ouch! It was a good time, and I'd go back. It's one of those thru hikes, runs a total of 14 miles, 28 RT. Next time I go will try for the north end, where the suspension Bridge is, and access to the river trail. Heres what I wrote last night about the hike: "Hi everyone.
I hope your day has been a good one. I have just returned from my hiking adventure, which was really nice, but I an SO TIRED!!! So forgive me for not visiting condos tonight, as I think once I sit down I will crash. I had the best intentions too! ;-) It has been an interesting day today. About 5.5 miles into this hike I see movement about 150 yards ahead, thinking hmmmm: hiker and dog on the trail. well no, one big black bear.  He was just wandering along the trail for maybe 300 yards, and then he heads to the lake. RELIEF! That was fun!

  Hiking with black bear. LOL. No photo though: too many trees and too far away. It was kinda cool though. I ended up doing 17 of the 28 RT miles: made the first campground by 10AM and thought sheshhh not going back at 10AM, so kept on going. LOL. One sometimes forgets that one also has to hike back out.  Climbed about 1700 feet too - shessh on that too. the trail is more or less flat, but has all these tiny hills and valleys: guess they add up HAHA. anyways - it is a nice woods hike, with exceptional views when all the trees allow it. That was one drawback: can't really see much of the lake, and no lake access. Lots of nice creeks though. If I go back I will go in from the north end - I suspect that is where the kid friendly part of this trail rating is. Sure wasn't on the part I was on. anyways.... I will feel those 17 miles and 1700 feet tomorrow, and the chaffing from my jeans. OW: have some raw spots: too hot, alot of sweat and things rub. oh well. : ) It has been a great day. Bear sighting was worth it! SWEET! " Picassa link (photos and videos) : Baker Lake Trail
I came home yesterday to HOT and starving kitties. Well, they thought they were starving. I love those greetings: it so reminds me of Mannie. He never missed a hike return. They inhaled their fuds  , and then wanted more. Guess they were starving!  I have no clue what they did all day long.... sure was alot of things scattered all over the house, some kitty toys, but mostly hoomin things, like magazines, paperbacks, utensils, and one more shattered kitty fuds bowl. AIyee! Now I really do have to buy new bowls! Silly cats! They are still laying in the hotest spots of the house.... silly kitties..... and this morning? I think they are running a marathon in my house. up and down the halls and back again. sounds like thunder is here.
Have a great day everyone. I am off to Seattle later today to see a friend for
> YAY! We are due for more sunny warm weather - maybe 86 today too. WOW ! and it still is predicted to hold for the 4th. SWEET!
