She's doing well, I did not see her all night, I guess there are more mice :arghh:
I wonder if I could give her a reduction, or should I wait for more days in green? I did not start the mussel again, I have a feeling it was the reason for the 100s.
 
I will try tomorrow, or tonight if she goes lower today.
I've met with our caregiver yesterday and I feel much more relaxed. she is a long-term feline diabetic mom, she's a member here, and Bella likes her, she's been taking care of her since we have her, except for last summer. I should be able to relax now :)

This is great! Nothing like having a cat sitter who you are both comfortable with for a stress-free vacation. When do you leave?
 
July 23rd. There are a few days at first when she is not available and the one who came last year will watch Bella. She told me she is used to diabetic cats as well but we did not talk directly yet, only through emails. She will come twice a day the first 3 days, then Patty will come twice a day until we come back August 15th (or around that, I still have to buy tickets!).
I loved that she said she will test her before each injection, we agreed on a do not shoot number of 70 (for now), and she will text me updates :bighug:
 
If it were me I would not try a reduction now and wait until you start prepping fur your vacation to see what that dose should be unless you see a drop under 50 or a lot less blue.

I still have 3 full weeks before I leave, you would still wait?
 
Well, I would but it seems others might reduce. I’m thinking reductions might continue to be earned anyway in the three weeks before you need a vacation dose. There’s no right or wrong here. So try a reduction if you want. If it doesn’t stick you can always go back up.
 
I would like to see only green for a few days myself :-) but I think the blues were caused by my mistake (she had only 2.25 units one night) and by the mussel and a possible fur shot, so I will try not to make mistakes for a few days!
