Yesterday was..... BOUNCE day in MannieLand.
WOW- all that yellow, and the that unmentionable color for the PM cycle. I told Mannie we could forget about yesterday as long as he had a better day today. There was sure alot of head nodding going on... he was nodding so hard that he lost a few furballs.  No doubt that yesterday was a bounce from the greens of the day before. I just had hoped it wouldn't be as bad as it was. On a good note, he didn't stay in the 400's long. So.... we look for a better day today. GO MANNIE! Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon
All is well in MannieLand.
DGS was back yesterday. Nannie was happy, DGs was happy, and the nanners were happy - if nanners could be happy. Mannie was decorated once again with the rainbow Nanners. DGS made sure they were just so on his back.  Mannie was laying on the rest of them, but DGS let them be. He stood there , studied them all, looked at Mannie, placed his hand on Mannie's back, gave him a mini-pet, as if to say: "It's OK, you sleep on the rest".
;-) Mannie is so funny - he sits there with his head elevated, all squinty-eyed. One can just see the thoughts:" I am so cool, so lucky! Look at me! " yes Mannie, that you are!
 This morning we had a great test, feed, shoot and clean plate club (YAY), AND the auto feeder was USED by Mannie, (YAY, and back at it!) , and Elsa still thinks it has her name on it, yet again.... so I am back to running interception on the feeder.... Despite all that I will still say: Normalcy in MannieLand.
Have a great day everyone. I am on DGS duty trough Friday - YAY!!! The little guy still has a cold though, so still no pool this week -we shall see how that goes, and if he feels like going. We may just do river trips - as I know those he loves, and that will no doubt make him feel better. I hope to be able to visit condos later in the evening. Sure will miss you guys and your furkids. Think blue, think green kitties!
Hey everybody! WOOT on the pastry shops yesterday - what fun. It was so cool that we had so many good things to sneak into Leo and Grayson's suite at CSU. It is so weird that all those people there believed that we were doctors! heeheehee - what fun! Hey you guys wanna go on a paddle and a kitty hike? We could go to this really cool place I know by canoe, and the hike up to this ridge nearby - it has really cool views and stuff. AND!!!! There is a zip line to take us back down. WOO HOO!!! What'd'ya think? you guys in? Let me know, I am ready for anything!! ~~ Mannie
And completely OT: Here are some photos from DGS's and my adventure yesterday - Beckler River. DGS had such a good time while there, and completely forgot that he had a cold. This river spot is 15 miles in from the nearest hwy and a little remote. But it is incredibly beautiful there, well worth the two hour drive that it took to get there. DGS had fun throwing rocks in the river, picking some flowers, gathering sticks, and just hanging out at rivers edge. it was so nice to see his face light up when we arrived and parked the car. He could hear the river..... I've also included the FaceBook links for anyone who wants to see all the photos, and the videos: Nicholas at Beckler River
