Hello LL!

I'm finally home! Until friday that is :sad: then it's back to work.

Well Leo's grandparents didn't come in to the city, it has been crazy hot here and they were worried about roasting Leo in the car so I just went to pick him up. He was very happy to see me and when he heard my voice he came running to see me. So now we are cooking in my apt, even with the air on it's still unbearable. It's been close to 100 F but with almost 100% humidity, 5 minutes outside and my hair is crazy.

Leo has been doing well on his latest reduction, surfing blues and dipping his kitty toes into green.

Anyway Leo and I hope everyone is doing well and staying cool! Have a great evening all.

Very nice numbers for Leo - even with all that heat. it is good to see him doing well. YAY on holding the reduction - good job Leo!!

What a wonderful greeting you got wen you went to pick him up. That is so nice! Too bad that you could not go to dinner, but I bet later would be good too.

Glad you made it home or a few days anyway. I bet Leo (aka Killer) was happy to see you! It's still HOT here and they are talking about rationing water. 22 day over 100 today. We only have 50% humidity though. 100% humidity would be unbearable. Stay cool and enjoy the cuddles you will surely get tonight!

I'm so glad Leo has done so well with his reductions. Go Leo!!!

We usually have temps over 100 here for about four months out of the year, over 110 many of those days, but we have almost no humidity so it's not so unbearable. When we have clouds roll in and the humidity gets to like 20%, I seriously think I'm going to die!!! I went to Pennsylvania to visit relatives in the month of August when they were having a heatwave of like 100 degrees with 100% humidity. I was completely immobile. I don't know how any of you do it. Why bother taking a flippin shower when you're going to be immediately sweaty as soon as you step out? And it just saps your strength. It felt like my body weighed 1,000 pounds!! Stay cool!!!!

Yeah it's retarded here, who knew Saskatchewan would have such high humidity.....it's a prairie for petes sake!! But we are the land of 100,000 lakes (true story! ;-) ) Tomorrow is supposed to be coolish with t-storms. Its been so hot here that yesterday just outside my hometown they had tornadoes touch down, now that almost never happens here. But rationing water.....now thats craziness, thats downright scary in fact.
 
Leo is looking great!!!! I know his mamabean was so happy to see him.

I never would have thought it would be so hot there.
