His numbers are coming down so I’m going to hold the dose. My guess is that even tho his infection LOOKED better there was still enough going on internally to drive up his BG. It’s also been a little stressful around here so he could be responding to that.

Fingers and paws crossed the BG continues to come down.

why don’t we see how this cycle goes then consider bumping up tonight, or even tomorrow when I can monitor thru the day?

It's fine to wait a day if that's better with your schedule. He did see low blues on this dose, but nadirs seem to be drifting up.

I’ve also been a bit lax on getting a range of test times - I tested when I know I’d start seeing his initial downward plummet into single (edit: I meant double! Whoops!) digit to know if I had to worry.

other than that he’s been acting and feeling awesome - much more energy, interest in scratching platforms (he’s a horizontal scratcher, not a post guy), so I think things are going well!
