Six and I continue to send out prayers of peace and love during this sad time in LL.

I opted to stick with the trial, knowing I can start a .1IU at any time if his numbers need it.

No snack last night. I didn't wake up and he's sleeping in multiple areas in the house so the timed feeder isn't always working.

I'm going to use the Alpha Trak and the One Touch Mini throughout the trial.

Oh, his allergies are acting up again so he's getting his allergy pill. Nothing serious, just the extra drainage that indicates a flare.

Finally, I need to learn to stop obsessing. I just tested him. He was "green" with the One Touch so I really shouldn't have tested him until PMBG. I just wanted verification that everything is working the way it should be (and it is.... 3 hours after eating 90 on Alpha and 61 on One Touch).

Looking good Amy. Obsessing... well, I guess that goes with the territory doesn't it? :-D

You can now call the numbers AM BG or PMBG so we know you didn't actually shoot anything.
I didn't actually think the 123 was a preShot. But you never know, so I thought I mention it.

It's hard to break our habits isn't it? :-D I did the same thing when I posted. Not a big deal, just makes it
clear as we read the post titles.

So happy for you! I hope you are beginning to enjoy this freedom from shooting every 12 hours.
It only gets better and better!

Happy Day 2!!! Best of luck with the rest of the trial. Stop obsessing?! Is that possible? :mrgreen:

Ok, besides AMBG/PMBG...what other lingo should I know?

Anything else to advise during the trial period that I should be doing that I'm not?

HI AMY AND SIX!!! Happy day 2! My advice is to enjoy the trial and don't worry too much! I am sure Six will do great! Scrabble is waiting to show Six around the Falls! (anti-jinx!) Happy Sunday!

I think we need a bean-abbreviation to go with OTJ: How about OTO (off the obsession)? :lol:

Ok, I might do a little joy dance tonight. :-D

This is so much more nerve wracking than I expected. Sure, I read the anxiety in OTJ trials...but it never dawned on me that I might feel the same way too.

I promised Six - no testing tonight. :lol:
 
Hi Amy! So nice to see that Six has made it to an OTJ trial! That's fabulous. He's such a cutie. I obsessed during Boomer's trial too and I think there were a few blue numbers in there too...but he still made it OTJ. I'm very happy for you guys.
