Once again, Simon seems to enjoy being in the pink for his AMPS. I'm kind of glad he isn't much lower because I will not be able to check on him at lunch today. I need to leave work early to go stand in line to get my drivers license re-newed. The State of Georgia is making everyone come in person to get some new license that is more secure. You have to bring 4 different types of ID with you to prove identity. This is the first month they are doing it and of course, my license expires this month! The wait time yesterday was 6 hours!!! :shock: I am bringing a book with me (or two!). Wish me luck and strength and most importantly, PATIENCE!

Simon is his usual self today. He didn't wake me up playing last night. I guess he is tired from the last two nights.

Sorry I haven't visited condos too much -- I sprained my back at work last week and it is hard to sit for too long on the computer.

It looks like Simon may see some sunny yellows today. Come down nicely while your bean is at work.

6 hours to get your license!!! That's absurd! Who has time to do that? I really hope you don't have to wait that long. Sorry to hear that your back is bothering you. Hope you feel better soon.

Hi guys .. well at least it is a low pink! So sorry to hear about your back, that must be so uncomfortable .. I can't imagine waiting in line for 6 hours to get a renewed license! I hope the wait time is much shorter then that, and that it goes by fast ... have a great day!

Come on down to yellow and blue Simon, but slowly! You might just wear your patience pants to the DMV. Wow! 4 kinds of id? Really? That is silly. I hope your line isn't too long or you at least take some really good books with you. Have a wonderful stress fee day Georgia!

I have been to hell and have survived, at least that is what it felt like waiting at the Department of Motor Vehicles for my license to be renewed. Instead of the 6 hour wait, I only had to wait 3 hours :roll: . What a joke this whole system is. Halfway through my wait, the government computers in the whole state of Georgia went down (at least that is what they said). I ended up getting my license with only 15 minutes left before they closed for the day. Whew!!

Simon gave me a nice surprise when I got home and is now a pretty blue!

Yikes on the license thing! We've been doing that here in NJ for quite some time. A few years ago, I got yelled at because I brought the Church version of my marriage license, not the legal one! I'm glad you survived, and a very lovely PMPS for Simon tonight!

Very nice PMPS, Mr. Simon! :-D What a pain on the license renewal. I will avoid making a snide remark about the stupidity of that but it's difficult. Grr. I hope your back is feeling better, that is no fun.
