Morning LL,

WCR Sara seems pretty content. It's been hot so she been trying to stay cool. She still urinates outside of LB form time to time. If her thyroid is the reason than we have'nt reached the right dose yet.

Libby Sara gets her med Felimazole 2.5mg in the morning. She has been on this since 7/5. I looked at her ss and she was lower in the am a lot before also. She free feeds, but she does'nt have a big appetite like she used to. Shes not a very active kitty. Shes 16 and most of the time she spends laying around or sleeping. She might be more active in the hours before her pmps because my husband gets up very early and maybe she does too. She might get more exersise in the early morning. Thats all I can think of.

Jill Sara's T4 was 4.7. The vet said it was a little high. Said she might be hypert and put her on Felimazole 2.5mg QD. Take another blood test in a couple of weeks.

Do you happen to know if the vet also ran a Free T4 along with a T4 level? It may be helpful to have the results on both given that the numbers on the T4 are borderline.

I think she only did a CBC, urinalysis and a T4. I'm not familar with that test. Would it actually say free T4? Because on my copies that I have it only says T4. She did say it was just a little over the normal range. What is the free T4 test? What does it look for?
