Hi Everyone,

Another busy day. Rusty had a good day, ate well, had some outdoor time, and survived the humid, very warm day. He was in hunting mode, but the prey, probably a chipmunk, got away in the tall grass. His numbers have come down nicely and he was in the lagoon, supervising, this afternoon.

The beans went back to the wooden canoe show to watch the auction. Very interesting. I didn't win the quilt raffle. We also went to the farmers' market and to the landfill.

How's his breathing in the humidity? I imagine it would be a bit like getting a steaming.
 
Rusty, my hero, for letting dat chipmunk get away. I know you coulda gots him if you really wanted to, but you was just havin fun. Happy you was at da lagoon today workin, Mama want me to go, but I dint today.

my dh wants Rusty to get the chipmunk... he's still smartin' from the 800 dollar bill for chewed wires on our vehicle.
he's out for revenge...

I was just thinking today that I wish I knew where there was a junkyard with lots of rusty metals..... guess your landfill
isn't anything like that.
I didn't see any mention of what kind of quilt.... I must have missed it....

it's okay Rusty, we knows you like those mousies best.....

Is it terrible that I was cheering for the chipmunk!? ;) Love you, little hunting buddy - you're the stud - but i like the little critters.:)

Sounds like a very fun day, Ella! Too bad on the quilt. The quilt and the chipmunk both escaped today, I guess. :rolleyes:

Rusty's looking awesome - way to go, Lagoonmeister! Keep an eye on Michael - he seems determined to tread in green waters too.
 
This looks more like "beans are home" numbers. :D The thrill of the chipmunk chase, most of the fun is the running. Would Rusty would know what to do if he caught it?
 
Darn, Wendy, that's another condo where you said exactly what I was thinking! I know my kitties wouldn't have a clue what to do if they ever caught a critter, but I think Rusty might - he does goes outside regularly, and mine never do.

LagoonMeister Rusty, I's so sorry I hasn't been pullin' my weight at the lagoon lately. Mama is gonna give me some more juice in the morning, so I am hopin' I will be reportin' for duty again soon! Thanks for pickin' up my slack. - Cinco
