7/18 Oberon AMPS 339, +5.5 345, PMPS 299, +4.5 164

Not bad, considering I was sleeping on the couch. (Radioactive Ariel is banished to the bedroom for the next two weeks and we're trying to minimize exposure to her... she sleeps right next to me so I'm just sleeping on the couch for a few nights until she's a little less hot.)

Oh, me too. Standard dose for humans is apparently ~7-30 mCi and they usually go home the same day. Cats get ~2-4 mCi (Ariel got 1.5) and have to stay at the vet for 4 days or so, then 2 weeks of minimal contact, etc. It doesn't really make sense. (I borrowed a Geiger counter from the lab, though, and she's definitely well above background levels! I also read that cats go home when they do partly to minimize exposure for the vets and staff who work with them- better for each family to have a little bit of exposure than for the vets to have even more than they're already getting.)
