Thanks again for the thoughtful birthday wishes for Ella. It appears that the sugar from all the sweets she had yesterday are on their way out. She woke me up this morning in a panic for food and started chomping on my hair. It was 15 minutes before my alarm was meant to go off so I tried to go back to sleep but she put me through the car wash; licking my face,pawing my hair,rubbing her body against my face and making me sneeze. I couldn't take it anymore so I got up and prepared the fuds. She still had to wait until the usual time to eat but it made her feel better knowing the chef was tinkering around in the kitchen.

The 'severe' storm we were supposed to get never came. I don't even think it rained! Still hot and humid but no complaints here. I'll just go to the community pool to cool off :-D

Hi guys .. hahah I totally hear you on the kitty car wash! Mocha does the same thing, the worst part about mocha is, she has a very very wet, SOFT tongue! No harsh tongue for her .. it's so gross :lol: I hope the pool helps cool you off .. it's misting here but I have a feeling that is just going to make it more humid when the sun pops out .. have a great day!

Oh how cute with the car wash from Ella. She was thanking you for her birthday party yesterday, but with the hidden agenda of getting you up to give her breffifs! :-D She's coming down nicely.

Ella had a bluesy kind of a day and then popped back up to yellow. Not too sure if it's a mini bounce from earlier in the day or more of a curve. She seems pretty content and so was I when she gave me permission to go to a yoga class as well as visit my friend's new baby. I'll take those passes whenever I can :-D

The yellow is nice and low and will be gone in no time. Then back to blues. :razz:

It was definitely nice to get a permission slip but now I know why she was so kind to me...looks like I'll be up doing a few spot checks tonight.

Ella's lookin' good tonight!

With regard to the Wellness, I think it's good to take things back when they don't look right. Especially now, when so many beans have noticed that the kitties are not liking their Wellness. I switched to the 3 oz. cans and it's the difference between night and day. The cans from Canada are the best (of course :lol: )
