Another day mostly under the night stand but she perked up a bit in the evening. She batted around a toy that had been lodged under a chair and was briefly up ON the bed rather than hanging out on the floor next to it. Also probably helped that tiny humans had left the building at that point.

AC apparently went out at some point overnight. Hoping it doesn’t get too bad in here before it can be fixed! But that’s up to maintenance.

Chloe is doing really well even after the n/s on the 16th. Good luck with the a/c. A horrible time of the year to be without it, Alex. At least you aren't in that "heat dome" out west.

Thanks for the good vines for her visit tomorrow! Will certainly post updates.

Blinds have been closed and lights off. It didn’t get too bad in here and maintenance already took care of it. While I miss having my house, the maintenance in this apartment complex has been top notch.

Looking forward to your updates from vet on chloe’s lethargy. May give us all insight. If not too late [I am in that west coast heat dome] could you also get the vet’s input on action of the depot. With that NS on 7/16, Chloe’s numbers don’t seem to be impacted at all. So I understand the theory of action behind the depot but not how it plays into bounces if the BG #s drop fast or a fur/missed shot. Seems like the depot would “have our backs”. Not finding the correlation on the SS.

Alas, I don't think my vet is not terribly familiar with Lantus. She initially prescribed Vetsulin, and only gave us Lantus when we asked for it. When I asked the forum a few weeks ago since I knew I'd have to miss a shot, the advice was to skip because her numbers in general have been good (i.e. pancreas is working), plus the depot, plus she's historically not been at risk for ketones.
