7/18: Cedric amps 145, pmps 183!

Considering all the stress I am having trying to catch this injured feral, Cedric slept with me again last night and gave me a good number this am. I finished his last pen last night and I am not 100% sure he got 1.25 units. I don't know if that was what helped with the 145#.

We started a new Lev pen this morning. Fingers crossed for Cedric.

On the feral front, the only one to show up for Popeye's chicken this morning was one of the females - and she's ear clipped. After 15 minutes of calling (they know my call) and tears on the curb, I gave her the chicken, packed up and went to work. I took the trap out bare - no covering, but no one showed anyway. :cry:

I know you have a crazy work schedule, 7 days a week. I was wondering if you could get another test this evening? Maybe one before you go to bed?

I know with the Lev, it might not have even onset yet, depending on the how many hours between your PMPS and your bedtime.

I see from your SS, that Cedric seems to nadir around +6, which is more like a Lantus kitty. I just feel that Cedric could use a bit more juice but a few night time tests might help us. It's that "many cat's drop lower at night" that has me wondering and looking for another test in the PM cycle.
 
He get his insulin at 6am & 6pm, so it would be plus 6.
He has been doing better on the Lev than on the Lantus this go around.
 
OH SNAP! His number was low tonight because I forgot to fill the autofeeder with his 2 snacks!!! ohmygod_smile
I was so caught up with getting the chicken ready for the injured feral that never showed, I forgot to set the feeder up!
Bad mom!!!
