Being totally honest, I did not think he'd make it through the night. I brought him to bed with me and he growled (never does that to me, only everyone else) and once in bed he just splayed out limp and wouldn't move. No purrs, just funky breathing. He seemed relaxed and comfortable so we just let him be. He was still that way each time I got up during the night.
But, in true cat fashion, he was up and by the door this morning. We'll see how he eats. I'm going to give him a little break this morning and see how he is in a few hours.

In her first follow up email, she asked if I had been killed and eaten by him yet lol Took us probably 4 months of double oven mitts to socialize him, but he's a very sweet kitty once comfortable. He used to lay in wait on top of his cat tree and bop anyone who dared come within reach.
He didn't seem like a lost cause, and time/effort fixes most things.
that would be the easiest solution wouldn't it? LOL
