Hi Clara,

The Instinct food is dry food and high carb. Both are no-nos for a diabetic cat.

The Stella & Chewy's pate seems to be high carb (only for emergency) based on the guaranteed analysis I found here:
https://www.stellaandchewys.com/cat-food/carnivore-cravings-purrfect-pate-chicken-salmon-recipe/
Is this the same food you are looking at?

I am going to tag @PerfumedCatMom for her input since she knows more than me about cat food in the US!

Why are you looking for new food? Does he not like the low carb food you are feeding him?
what do you feed to your cat?.

I just like to please my cat and not force him to eat something that he gets bored.
He open one can and he looks at eat smell it and then look at me and rubs my leg.
sometimes i just sit and hand feed him.
My brother read about raw food but we don't know which one to buy.
My dad says to buy some extra cans like tiki cat?.

Thank you so much! :)
why there is no flowers emoji?

Cats are creatures of habit. They don’t need a lot of variety. Try and stick with different proteins but the same category. For example if he eats fancy feast turkey pate, for variety feed fancy feast beef or chicken. Make sense?

Yup. This seems to be low carb.

You can use this carb calculator to calculate carb% of foods. Look at the last field - Dry Matter Carbohydrates: (%). Less than 10% is low carb.

Cat food companies only print "Guaranteed Analysis" on their food labels and it's an approximation - it should however give you an idea of whether the food is low carb or not.
