Little green yesterday and then up. We are just waiting to see if that could have been the 1u shed and what she might do on the f.75u. Patience Grasshopper (which would be ME). Missy G was very lovey, cuddly and went to bed with me last night but when Mike came to give her a snack before he came to bed, she decided to be silly and run out of the room and down the hall, watching to make sure he followed. She eventually came back to bed and climbed on me purring and cooing, headbutting, and then somersaulting her way into a nice snuggle in my arms. Sweet baby. Her eyes look good today!!

All else is well here....Gus and Tobey seem fine. I had to set aside the editing on the subq video until I could finish the Terumo conversion work. I promised Ella to use my last old MJ syringe where the needle came down through the hub and see what the 1u dose is with the micropipettor. Thanks to Ella and Melanie for letting me know they have noticed a difference in the WN esp the 5.5 oz cans. Weird.....

I alluded to my DM starting to become mentally a little more fuzzy. I have to share this very funny story. She sent me a beautiful birthday card and wrote this very poignant, eloquent paragraph about what a joy it had been watching me grow up and develop into a lovely young woman...that I was like a beautiful butterfly touching lives and staying long enough for others to notice my beauty :? :? (ME?) Anyway...it was very sweet and touching and so I called to thank her and she said "what did I write? I don't remember......but I'm sure I must have meant it at the time".

MOM!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Ha ha Libby....I hate going to the grocery store, too.

Mike said I gave extra insulin to Gracie to get her to come down so I wouldn't have to go.

He's a much better shopper anyway ;-)

I get my partner Tom to go to the grocery store. He likes to go food shopping. The perfect man, lol. :lol:

Way to find the lagoon, Gracie!!! That is a bit harsh, Mike, saying Marje would give extra juice to get out of grocery shopping. You must not like it either. :lol: That is a sweet/sad story about your mom. (((Marje)))

Thanks again, Marje, for doing all the testing of the syringes again. You have no idea how much I appreciate it. I would like to reciprocate with a box of my "specialty"--cimmamum cookies. Please PM me your address. (I'll make a double batch so that you'll be sure to get a few :lol: .)

Interesting about the cans of Wellness. It might have to do with geography: East vs. West (although Ann/Maggie gets the small cans that are "product of Canada" and she lives in California). I remember reading on the board about a year ago what the code marks on the bottoms of the Wellness cans mean with regard to which manufacturing plant they come from. I'll do some digging and try to come up with the post. Now I'm really curious.

I hope you got your shopping done and that Gracie will stay in the nice surf she's got going. Rusty is hosting a lagoon party tonight, I think.

Hi Marje and Ella, on the Wellness Turkey, I did some experimenting with the cans. I order from www.wag.com, and I get two cases of the 3 oz cans, and they are made in Canada. This is the consistency that is more chunky and brothy, too, and Maggie likes it. She can sink her teeth into it! The other 3 oz. cans made in the USA are pudding like consistency, and she doesn't like it. The Wellness made in Canada is a little lighter in color whereas the USA one are darker in color. Try and get some small 3 oz. cans made in Canada. Look towards the bottom of the can where you see a logan and below it says recyclable aluminum. Right below it says either "Product of USA" or "Product of Canada". I looked at PetsMart, and they are made in the USA. Also PetPeople the Wellness is made in USA. Ella pointed out that some made here and others in Canada. I believe Ann & Tess also order from Wag.com. Correct me Ann, if I'm mistaken. Sorry so wordy.
