7/17 AMPS 139. +3 108. +5 94. PMPS 111…. Reduce to 1U?

I know by rule I should stick with 1.25 but considering he’s been close to 90 today, should I do 1 and see what happens? I plan on testing a few times overnight to see. I know cats are usually lower at night so didn’t know if 1 would be better!
I’m scared to experience him going too low!!

Like Rainbow said, you want to wait for him to "earn" a reduction. The numbers you are seeing are still the higher 1.5U depot working.

He eats young again dry and Royal canin wet food but not very often at all. I try to give it every day but he doesn’t always eat it. He’s a weirdo lol

Adult Instinctive - Loaf in Sauce is 13% carbs and Adult Instinctive - Thin Slices in Gravy is 14%. Both are too high in carbs. You want to feed less than 5% carbs. Is there no other wet food he likes?

The Intense Beauty isn’t the same as the adult instinctive flavor. I used the carb calculator and got less than 10% I thought. Maybe I didn’t do it right.
I don’t have to feed it. He won’t miss it!
I’ve tried every wet food on the market. Literally.

Sorry. I typed "Adult Instinctive" but it was supposed to be "Intense Beauty". Both ar 13% and 14%. Look at the list I linked.

In the carb calculator, you want to look at the "Dry matter carbohydrates %".
