Good Morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Thank you Elsa! Tess is feeling so much better this morning! Thank you for all the vines! cat_pet_icon cat_pet_icon Tess ate all her first and second dinners last night 9 and quite a bit of our chicken as well!) She was a little cuddle buns last night too! :-D :-D :-D Obviously the orbax is helping, I just don't think it has been getting it totally eliminated. I think she left her midnight snack until just before that ugly +11. Good appy this morning too.

Michelle, Dr S is going to call when the test results get in snd we are going to discuss ABs. Maybe something different or maybe a longer course of the Orbax. Was the AB you were using ZENIQUIN? I'll ask about it. We switched from Clavamox because that made her so sick. I know when Gracie was given Orbax that she was on it for a month, that may be the way to go.

WCR All 5 Ps, Clean Plate Club, Vines to all the kittehs in need of them and hugs to all their beans.

It sounds like Tess is already starting to feel much better - yay! I'm sure you'll figure out a plan to keep the UTI away permanently. Keep feeling better, Tess!

So glad Tess is feeling better. Poor girl. Thos pesky UTIs. We have a horrible time with Clavamox as well. I hope you get something that does the trick. Have a great day!!

Clavamox is notorious; lots of cats get sick on it (Stu did, as did Alice; Rusty hasn't had it). I hope you find the magic a/b and the magic dose.

The Tour was amazing today. What a ride by Talansky!

Nice recovery today, I'd even be happy to have a PJ party all night! She ate really well this morning, but isn't interested in dinner yet, maybe if we had chicken every night.

No lab results yet, the vet called and they didn't get them. Should have the blood work tomorrow. One worry some thing is that Tess is still losing weight. :YMSIGH: 6.7 pounds yesterday. Dr. S said it's common in CKD, her little body just can't make good enough use of what she is eating.

Nice recovery for Tess. I think Zenequin may be right. I will look back through my notes on Mannie's SS and see if I can find it. We only used it two days, as it was obviously causing him issues. i t was a once a day pill, which is why we chose it since he was getting so many pills already. I believe it is part of the baytril group??? Could be wrong on that. I wish you luck in finding another....

ETA: just confirmed in my notes: it was Zenequin.
