Good morning Summer, love the pic. I just wanted to tell you I started out on the Facebook group. It’s hard to read some of those posts and the advice given gets scary. I finally had to stop, cat owners giving insulin (Lantus) three times a day. Thank goodness for Chris being there, she helped me a lot, and intervened on some crazy advice. Hope you and Susie have a wonderful day and those blues she looks so pretty in start to appear.

Summer, the picture gave me a good laugh. I can't believe for two seconds a cat would allow such a thing, but POWER to the little lizard, or dinosaur! If I saw Tina like that, I'd faint, or rush her to the ER for losing her huntress self:cat: She has bitten the tails off lots of dinos! Used to bring them in through her cat enclosure all the time . . . I rescued as many as I could.
Have a great day, and give Susie a big kiss on her nose:kiss:

We have tons of those Dinosaurs around our house. My great grandson corrects me every time I call them that.

I try to rescue them when I find them in my house. Susie kills them and she somehow had one in my bedroom yesterday. Poor lizard. I thought the picture was cute, too.

I have seen some wrong statements on the Facebook site too. Usually some good folks step in and set that person straight.

Bizarre turn of events. Susie just got a 311 at +6 which is usually her nadir. I don't know where it came from but I tested twice (the first number was higher) How can that be a bounce from yesterday if she was coming down at +3 and why would she still bounce with blues?

She is probably bouncing from the 62 on the night of 7/14. Bounces can sometimes be delayed. And numbers can be pretty wonky in bounce cycles. It's impossible to explain every number - good or bad. You will drive yourself crazy trying to find logic in every pattern. Just focus on the nadirs and ignore the bounce cycles.

Some cats go high before they break the bounce.

Thanks, Bhooma. I knew it could take a few cycles to break a bounce but it seems this number just came out of nowhere all of a sudden after a pretty good day yesterday.

It's hard to tell. It could be lack of insulin absorption or a delayed bounce or the weather. Enjoy the rest of your day and go from PMPS.:bighug::bighug:
I was going to get one more test, right now, just to see what was happening then I will give it a break until PMPS. Too hot to be outside now. Florida, in July, is not conducive to time outside but it is a really beautiful day.

It can also take a few cycles after the low for the bounce and like I said, some cats go high before they break the bounce. This could be that as well.

Bottomline - don't break your head trying to explain every number. Just take a testing break in cycles like this and forget about FD and tests! It can get too much.

I see Susie is still playing around - Just like Luci - just can't stand a good thing and has to throw in a high number now and again - just to keep you in line.

Try not to get too excited about those pinkies...they happen...and I see she came right back down - let's hope she'll stay out of the cookies and head back to the lagoon.

Hope you are staying cool and dry!

Take care Summer! :)
