Good Morning, Everyone,

We had much needed rain all night. It hasn't cooled off much, but just the fact of the rain is very welcome. Rusty had a good night. He wanted us up at dawn this morning, but then went back to sleep. He had his usual good routine and is now napping in his little bed.

I called my car shop and was able to get an appointment for this afternoon to see about fixing the a/c. We really can't take Rusty anywhere without a/c because we can't leave the car windows open when he is in the car. We had planned to go down to camp for part of this week. We'll see how it all plays out. Right now the prediction is for rain today and tomorrow. And since we have to be back here by the weekend to get ready for the annual Canoe Outing next week, we may not get down to camp until after Canoe Outing. This summer has been busy from the start. I think our "summer down time" will be after Labor Day!

Wishing everyone a good Monday. Sending good vetty vines to Leo and Grayson as they begin the SRT. Sending healing vines to all kitties in need.

Re: 7/16 Rusty AMPS 128

Nice way to start the day Rusty:)
It's great that you got an appt to get the a/c fixed. I'm not a huge fan of the a/c but it's been such a crazy hot summer that I have been happy to use it. Sounds like you have lots of fun things planned for the summer. I think because we have limited time to get out and enjoy the warm weather that we tend to pack it up with tons of stuff to do. Whenever September rolls around I feel I could use another vacation

Have a good day Ella!

Re: 7/16 Rusty AMPS 128

Hi Ella. good that you got an appt. for the A/C. It is needed as the cars get so hot just parked for a few minutes when running an errand. It sure does sound like a busy and full summer packed with activities and great times for you both. Have a nice day and nice blue start for Rusty.

Re: 7/16 Rusty AMPS 128

Very nice start for Rusty! I agree on the A/C...in the house, I keep temps pretty warm, but in a car, and A/C is pretty much necessary, especially with a furry kitty on board.

Have a great day!

Re: 7/16 Rusty AMPS 128

Morning Ella,

YAY for rain. Glad you got hat was needed. Good luck with your car too, with high temps can't imagine getting around without it. And yes, especially with Rusty in the car. I hope you will be able to make camp this week. Maybe the fix to the car's AC will be a quick and easy one. :-D

Nice on canoe outing next week. Is that the one that has the 4 (??) day race?

Enjoy your day today.

Re: 7/16 Rusty AMPS 128

Hi guys .. nice low blue to start the day .. How nice to hear you guys got some rain .. we need rain so desperately .. all the grass is brown and crunches when we walk on it! Glad you have an appt to get the A/C fixed .. hope you guys have a great day!

Re: 7/16 Rusty AMPS 128

Nice start today or Rusty. I hope the AC is a simple fix. I've been noticing some ads for do it yourself recharging. If we have to take the Land Rover anywhere I might try it. It has a leak that would cost over $1000 to fix an the car isn't worth that anymore!

All the kitters are waiting for you to go to Camp Stu!

Hi again,

My car a/c is fixed, they think, and it certainly was effective this afternoon on my way home from the shop. Fingers crossed. In any event, we have decided to stay home this week and do the necessary painting of the steps and some touch-ups on the house. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are supposed to be good painting weather. Canoe Outing begins next Monday, and the following week we will be spending at Camp Stu. My sister and her adult kids and almost-adult grandkids will be renting a cottage only 2 miles from Camp, and we all expect to have a jolly time.

Rusty came down nicely today. Perhaps the retooling of the shed is complete. He had some outdoor time this afternoon. Edward cleaned up the window well where the wasp nest was, and we washed it down thoroughly. So it is now safe for Rusty. (And of course it's the first place he went to!! He wanted to reenact the capture of the mouse.)

Off to visit condos while I watch the Tour recap.

Hi Ella

Another nice day for Rusty!! He's so reliable.

I'm glad the a/c is fixed....your summer sounds so fun!!! I know you will enjoy your sister's visit.

I posted a condo on the Terumo vs Monojects and put some measurements in there. If you have the calipers, you probably don't need the 1/2 unit syringes with the measurements I put up but I could understand if it makes you feel better to have them. I probably would, too.

Have a great night. Tobey sends lots of love!! He can't wait to go to Camp Stu.
