Panzer was high all day yesterday & started out high this morning. He just tested @73/77 retest @PMPS. I thought maybe he was bouncing yesterday?

He started having liquid poops last night, so I switched back to Cerenia @ PMPS tonight. I don't know if the ondansetron was the cause or what? He was having normal poops on the twice a day mirilax & Cerenia.

I gave Spook some ondansetron @AMPS & seemed to make him feel better & eat better so far today.

Panzer had to have Fortiflora on his AMPS +8 feeding chicken & liver FF, sometimes he likes it sometimes he doesn't! He has been doing the tounge thing when bathing sometimes & also at testing sometimes. He's been very playful & loveable today probably because he's in lower #s.

I really thought about stalling before shooting tonight but I went ahead & did it! I had plans to go visit a friend about a mile away but I can't leave him now after shooting that low of a #. @Diane Tyler's Mom bring out the big balls again! Lowest shoot ever!

Thoughts appreciated on what is going on with mr Panzer's cycles? @FrostD @Suzanne & Darcy @tiffmaxee @Bron and Sheba (GA) also when should I test again?https://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/thr...ose-increase-food-switch.264440/#post-2962696

He also looks bouncy from yesterday’s green. Obviously tonight he had cleared it. See if you can feed him snacks every hour for a little bit to see if you can prevent further dropping. You can test at +1 if want. I would have, but I could not stand to not know what my baby’s BG was.

He's being Panzer, he followed me to the kitchen & tried to get into the butter that I was putting on my broccoli. I swear this cat loves dairy more than anything  I will test again @+3 I've been using disposable gloves & he's not attacking my hands now, he's looking at my hands like what are those Mom & he's being good!

Funny. I was wondering if he was giving you a hard time with testing today. I guess it’s every day now.

Panzer is at 57@+4. I am feeding him his regular LC food. I really want to see if he can come back up on his own or get a reduction?& now he's got a food bump possibly, sometimes he doesn't go up will test again @+5 he's acting normal. They both just cleaned there bowls. There now chasing a fly!

Not sure about the poop. Did they ever test clear of the giardia?

I'm sure he feels much better in these numbers! Glad.you stuck it out with the Lantus
Yes they were cleared of the gardia thank God. I'm glad I did too. He's been wanting to play Panzer runs & Mom chases me  poop is pretty much back to normal now,but I only gave him one ondansetron today & one Cerenia.

I think that maybe he’s getting too much miralax. Ondansetron is known to cause constipation. It did for Max and I would sometimes need to increase miralax if he was on ondansetron very long. Every cat is different though Is it helping the nausea? He’s looking really good on this dose. He’s one of those that has lower pm cycles like Max did.

I decreased the mirilax today, I didn't give it at +8 AMPS but will @+8 PMPS. Yeah it decreased the nausea for sure. I think it helped Spook out this morning as well, poor boy he has all the classic symptoms of pancreatitis as well. I just hope the vet will keep giving me the Cerenia & more ondansetron as well. They may want to examine Spook again in order to get refills for him. That's all they will be doing though. They wanted to do bloodwork on Panzer so bad, I wouldn't doubt if they weren't honest about the specific test for pancreatitis costing almost $400 alone. That's just crazy! Panzer does seem to run lower at night which is a good thing since I work during the day. I just hope he doesn't give me a low AMPS on Wednesday that's my long day that I have to have someone come in & feed them @+8 AMPS. If he does I will adjust accordingly & give him MC or HC @+4 before leaving for work.

That’s crazy the the pancreatitis test would cost $400. It’s even part of the Antech panel.
I know the past couple of times before I took him in the last time, they kept saying he's due for bloodwork & I kept saying not while he's still sick because his #s will be off. I might just call my old vet on Monday & ask them what they charge for one, just so I will know if my vet was being honest or not.

7- 18 Panzer AMPS 88/88 retest I gave 2units instead of 2.25 I can only monitor until +4. Hopefully I didn't make a mistake by not giving the full dose. I will make a new post this evening.

Hope everything goes well today, Christina. Maybe Panzer is starting one of his bounces (he clears them so quickly.) I remember we talked about the panc test before and how I didn't believe the $400! I think somebody made a mistake in quoting you that price.
