July 15 - pmbg 108
July 16 - ambg 94 / pmbg 67

I got nervous with that 108 and am still a little nervous with the 94, just because Mouzer was staying down more around 70's. So, in all honesty here, I am feeling nervous and think I have a desire to do a pmbg for this evening, just to see how he is rockin along. I didnt get an exact week to date reading, because Tommy Cat got his FME on the day that would have been exact week for Mouzer and things were hectic.

I have not been giving Mouzer any products that I was using, just to see how he goes with it. He had stopped his struggle to eat, meaning his stomatitis flare up had settled, so stopped the products for a bit. One of the products is not to be used for always - Immune Sure - that is to be used for three weeks and then either off of it, until something shows it is needed, or skip a week and go back on for three weeks. I am waiting to see what I will need to do.
The Comfort Gold was for pain, so only to give that in flare ups.
And the Blood Sugar Gold, is to be given with insulin, but I never got the nerve to give it with the insulin because he gave warning it will cause lower bg and I was scared of how low hahaha So, I used it after Mouzer was not getting insulin, but I have stopped it now.

I got a call from the veterinary dentistry. They had a cancellation and wanted to know if I wanted to bring Tommy Cat in for his FME. I contacted a friend about money lacking to pay. She told me to get him in, she will borrow what is needed from her family, and I can repay them once the fundraiser ends, which is August first. So, Tommy Cat has had his FME and he is just starting his third day after surgery. He is doing ok, considering, you know.

Tommy Cat had ALL bad teeth. There was a canine, broken and a hole straight up into gums and abscess! And other bad teeth. I had been pointing out the yukky looking teeth to the vet we had left and he kept telling me taking them out would not benefit Tommy Cat! Somethin wrong with that vet! The dentist vet said that even with stomtatitis, having all of these bad teeth taken out could have helped Tommy Cat fight the stomtatitis infection better. But ok they are out now.

I already had the back four extracted, last year. He was missing others and someone in his life did have six extracted professionally. So, Tommy Cat was loved by somebody in his past.
Due to missing teeth and the extractions done in past were done correctly for the stomatitis kitty, the cost was $2374 - the estimate was $2800 to $3000. We had raised $1580 with the fundraiser, so my friend loaned me the rest. I now owe her $772 -- a couple of people donated a little bit already, towards paying my friend back.

Tommy Cat gets to see the dentist vet, for his mouth - as his personal mouth dentist now. I am glad of this. For the next year and on into two years, any pain that comes up, the dentist vet will treat is and I will pay the cost of what is used to treat it but there will be no office fee - their office fee is $95. Because Tommy Cat has been on steroids for three years, we are hopeful that the use of steroids will get farther and farther apart. The dentist vet said, ideally we would never want to use another steroid, but realistically Tommy Cat has had them for a very long time, so there might still be pain to deal with and hopefully, with the FME, that will get farther and farther apart. Steroids suppress the immune system, making it harder to overcome, even with FME performed. But Tommy Cat has a much better chance than if we never got this done for him.

Mouzer does not have a severe case of stomatitis, like Tommy Cat's. We used steroids a little bit last year, around August and September. So, once I get this money paid back to my friend, I will start a fundraiser for Mouzer. I need to try getting this done before Mouzer does get worse and needs any steroids. I am not sure how quickly I can raise money for Mouzer with this. People waited for Tommy Cat's near death before jumping in to help raise money for him and I hope this will not be the case for Mouzer.

I have ran several fundraisers for Tommy Cat, since his diagnosis in 2014, and people would not donate. It had to come down to this was his last chance or he would die, because the steroids were no longer working and he was in the most horrid pain I have ever seen. It was so bad. I am so thankful he got this FME, even though it is late in the game for him and we are mostly remaining hopeful for him. I hate that it had to come down to a matter of life and death, before people would finally help. I wish people could understand, you should not be giving these cats steroids until they no longer work, before then doing the right thing, because the steroids prevent the right thing being done from working as it should.

But OK - Hopefully, after August first, when I begin a fundraiser for Mouzer, people will jump on to get the fundraiser shared and people will donate and not make him wait until he is on the brink of death. His being diabetic does not give him room for steroids - steroids caused his diabetes and I will make this very clear, when I create his fundraiser.

I have to go tend to animals and get ready for church. I did want to quote and respond to everyone, from last condo, but I am running behind, so please forgive me for just making a long update here and having to run. I will try to get back sooner than a week and respond to everyone. Thank you all for caring and acknowledging the last condo. I was surprised ya all would stop in. I appreciate that! I will try to get in here, other than just updates, so I can go check on all of your precious babies and see how all of you and your babies are doing.

One day, I will have to gather all of the stupidity this newest vet has already done and tell you about it lololol And I need a new vet because this one has taken the cake for stupid. I have found three, close enough to me for a drive, that I will be checking out. And I am even considering venturing as far as near the vet dentist, who is 45 mins away, but that is kind of far to have to use a regular vet for - with considering my vehicle not being dependable.

Those are still normal numbers for Mouzer. Hopefully it is just a blip. I would keep an eye out in case they do start going higher.

I'm so glad Tommy Cat got his FME. I hope he recovers fully. Please keep us updated on what is going on with both kitties and when you start the fundraiser for Mouzer. :bighug::bighug:

I guess it is ok to still go weekly with Mouzer on his test. I just dont feel quite comfy going two weeks yet. I was thinking about it but nah, not quite ready yet. I am waiting til August first arrives, to see what help I get to pay my friend back the part she loaned for Tommy Cat's FME. My experience is not a good one. As soon as people see the vet got paid, they usually stop donating - and that means I have to pay up the money, which means I am not able to pay my bills. I am behind on bills because of cats having issues all through last year and still this year and when I say I have to not pay bills to pay for their care, it means I am not paying bills that already are not paid lolol and that means, paying interest only and getting nowhere with bills ever getting paid.

I am hoping to raise money for Mouzer's FME before he has a flare up that requires steroids, like last year, because I just cant allow him to have them. I need to find a good vet to refer him to our dentist vet. Our dentist vet does not accept animals, unless they are referred by a regular vet. I have not let this crack pot vet see Mouzer and I need to find him a good vet and a good vet for the others too. It is being expensive just to find a new vet. You have to pay a vet and let them --- kill your cat?? --- before finding out if they are a good vet or not *rolls eyes*
