Happy Caturday!!! More healing vines to Rocket, Georgia's Simon and Cleo, and Bruce's Simon (although we heard he ate!!).

Mr. L just can't seem to leave the building for good and let Mr. P take control. But we are so delighted over her cycles the last week since I took her dose up. She's had to adjust to more pokeys and has been a little tired ....napping during the day but she's on guard at night on the catio waiting for any little creatures to enter her courtyard!! I would love to change her to a raw diet to decrease the amount of fat she gets in her diet from the Wellness but the WN has worked so well in controlling her drops that it's a Catch-22. Paws crossed Mr. L goes back on vaca today!!

Hi Marje, I love that sweet pic of Gracie asleep after a hard day. Did she get her treat? Maggie could stand to lose some weight, too, and her numbers were better on Wellness rather than FF. Have a nice weekend, and hope Gracie can catch up on her resting. :smile:

Really nice cycles for her yesterday - love the blues and the greens... though that +5 was a bit out of place. I just love it when they throw in odd numbers like that - just to confuse us! I hear ya on the comment about Mr Liver not being able to leave the building... sheshhhh, but so true. That would be Mannie this morning... And I know on the Wellness - but I too have found that he is more consistent in the BG numbers when he is fed their fuds. We are back to using it most of the time now.

Natalia: yes ma'am and we've been :-D and will remain :-D if she continues to like her dose!!

Michelle: poor, exhausted kitties!!! Gracie says "but ma!! I need at least 19 hours of undisturbed sleep a day...that's what the books all say". She is adorable! I am happy with the WN as long as she is FD. It's a great food but I really wish cat food makers would spend a little more and put in more protein and less fat. That drives me crazy.....you want low carb, you gotta either have higher protein or higher fat and so they take the cheap way out.

Susan: thanks!! sometimes I think the exhausted poses are more for effect than real exhaustion :twisted: :twisted:

Mannie...hiking is good and then we can chill by our pool!!

She wasn't exhausted in that photo - she was practicing her yoga... with her eyes closed.... and snoring.... and ignore any drooling, that is a special kind of yoga move.

Good evening all. We had plans to go to dinner with two couples tonight to celebrate a belated birthday for me. Of course, Gracie decided to do a slide and at +9 she was 74 so we gave her a little 8% which I would have done anyway. At +9.5, she was 64 and we were ready to walk out the door so I gave her a little more 8% and a drop of karo to try and bump her and keep her safe while we were gone 1-1/2 hours. Thought about cancelling but Mike starts working weekends again in Aug and we were running out of time to do this. She gave us a beautiful 97 at PMPS!! I could see Mike fretting at dinner that she was going to be low. The ladies and I left early so we could get here by 7:15 while the guys paid the bills.

Mike leaves tomorrow again so I'm the night dude!! Hope you are all having a lovely evening.

Wonderful pm cycle shaping up here! I am glad that you made it to dinner. All too often we have to cancel plans, etc for our fur kids, even though I know you, as I, do it willingly. But nonetheless - so much gets placed on hold... Nice fuds management so you could go out - I would have done the same... so many times I know I will be gone for 2-3 hours, know he's green, know i can put out the 10% and things are OK. well anyways... I am glad that you made it for dinner.

Michelle: yes...it was nice to get out and I didn't really do anything differently than if I'd been here. I know when she is breaking a bounce and sliding into PMPS that I have to usually boost her up around +10; very different than when she has a normal curve and gets a second dip and I can let that be. Still....we don't usually leave the house if she's in blue or green!!

oh i know on the not leaving if they are blue or green.... it is nice too when we get a basic handle on what they do - you can feed or adjust and make things work, it;'s the all-day things that get to me: always the worry - dare I go?

looks like you may be up a while - I hope she doesn't go too low - you just did this the other night... Good luck!

Hi Marje!! I'm so glad you went on your dinner date!! I know how hard it is to concentrate on a good time when half your mind is at home, though!!

I LOVE that picture of Gracie. She is for sure one photogenic little girl, even when she's done in and tuckered out! :lol:

Michelle: yes, we did do it the other night. I hope I haven't spoiled it; I do not know what I was thinking...I gave her 8% at +3.5 when she was just surfing. I think I am tired. :lol: Darn I hope it doesn't have a residual effect this late.

Patty: she is a photogenic little girl!! Yes we went but I could tell Mike did not have a good time..I could read it in his face that he would have rather been at home!!

Gracie had a great cycle! I imagine you are both really exhausted but green is definitely her color!
