Trix is a bit high this morning...not sure if it's a full moon thing, dawn phenomenon thing, dose thing, or just her mood.

Anyway...last week I had asked opinions about whether we should take her back up to S0.75U to see if we could bring her preshots down, and I believe it was Libby who said she thought Trix had room for the increase. Needless to say, the very next day Trixie decided to bring her preshots down all on her own, so I held her at F0.50U. But once again, her preshots are inching up just a bit...they're good, but if possible I'd like to see them be better. Should we go up to that S0.75U now? I'm thinking "yes", but always appreciate feedback here.

I managed to pick up poisong ivy while mulching/weeding during my staycation last week . I thought I could tough it out, but it is driving me crazy! I hope the doc can see me today. I hate going to doctors...but this further affirms how much I despise weeding!!!

I'd go for the increase. You're there to test and you stay on top of the numbers so i don't see any reason to not try a bit more juice.

And totally agree about weeding and poison ivy. :?

No dose advice, but yucky on the poison ivy! Good luck with whichever way you go.

Good luck on the increase! Poison Ivy is the worst! Yuck! Hope you can get in and get something for it. It would be a miserable weekend otherwise. The heat makes it feel even worse.

Good luck on the dosecrease!!! They do say the preshot numbers are the last to normalize. Maybe this will be just what she needs.

TRIXIE!! Not Cool!!! We'll blame it on the full moon :razz: ...but she still got her dosecrease (thanks for the input)!

Her preshots and curve definitely looked best when she was on .75, but I went with S.75U anyway...can always bump her up if necessary. From here on out, she's following the "3 drops below 50 before earning a decrease" rule.

Got my prednisone for the poison ivy. I hate going to doctors and I hate steroids almost as much as I hate weeding...that's how desperate I was! I hope it kicks in quickly...I'm going nuts here!

And extra good luck on the poison ivy. I'm glad you went to the doctor. I hope it gets much better soon.

Thanks, Claudia! I'm not sure if I'm "supposed" to drink while on the pred, either, but the bottle didn't say I couldn't so, well, I did have a couple "nice" glasses of wine with dinner tonight...if Two Buck Chuck's qualifies as "nice" :lol: ! (ETA: Is it scary that this bottle of wine costs less than 4 tests strips? Or that I even think to compare the price of a bottle of wine to the price of test strips :lol: :lol: ?)I agree, it is sooooo Friday!

The poison ivy already seems to be calming down...don't know if it's the pred, the hydrocortizone cream, the wine, or the combination of all three. All I know is I am :-D to not be scratching like a madwoman! I can't remember if I said it before or not...I am never pulling weeds again!
 
Two Buck Chuck.... Trader Joe's just opened her today... woooo hoooo!!!!!! :)

Fingers and paws crossed that the extra drop will bring down Miss Trix's pre-shots. Willie had been creeping up as well, and fattening up did the trick pronto! Hope Trixie does the same!

I loooove Trader Joe's for the "specialties." Aside from Chuck, I highly recommend their non-pareils, their almonds covered in dark chocolate rolled in turbinado sugar and seasalt, all of their Belgium chocolate in general, peanut butter filled pretzels (with salt, of course), wasabi almonds....oh, the list goes on. Enjoy that you've got one close by! Ours opened less than a year ago, and if I don't go there every week, something is "off" :-D !
